35 Dragon Hearts (1/2)

Naga entered the cave and when he reached the deepest part, he was so startled. There are a lot of raw dragon stones. Some are as huge as walls while there are tiny pieces too on the ground.

He picked 10 huge dragon stone blocks aside from the tiny pieces he saw and put it on his magical pouch.

”Master.” The Book called him while he is picking the tiny pieces.

”Destroy that crimson wall. There is a dragon heart hidden inside.” The Book said with enthusiasm.

”Dra... Dragon Heart you say?” Naga was surprised and hurriedly picked a huge hammer from his earring's storage.

Dragon Heart is the source of Dragon Mana. A rune like gem that a human can consume and use the energy within to form dragona mana. He didn't expect it and after destroying the crimson wall he picked and looked at the three red runes.

”Those are untainted. However, those runes don't have a lot of mana. I recommend for you to consume those three, master.” The Book said.

”I see. Alright. Let's stay here and I will use one of the three runes.” Naga said and did a meditation post.

”Only one?” The Book curiously asked.

”Yes. I have a plan.” Naga smiled and then closed his eyes.

He focus his attention towards his arcane mana and dragon mana. The red rune floated in the air and started to glow with bright red lights. The bright runic lights entered Naga's body and the cave shook. 'Rumble!'

Naga was surprised since he didn't expect that this is going to be painful. ”What's happening?”

”Your dragon mana is one of the most ancient and it is one of the purest too. It is absorbing the dragon heart and cleansing it to be much purer. Because of that, you will not be able to consume all of it.” The Book explained.

”I see. Good to know.” Naga smiled. He clenched his fist too and assumed his meditation post.

”You should also know master that your dragon mana is a separate reserve than your arcane mana. Usually, after someone got a dragon mana it is fusing with the arcane mana. It seems that you have a very powerful soul to be able to separate the two.” The Book softly said.

Naga didn't respond and focus his concentration toward his dragon mana reserve. He felt that his dragon mana reserve got bigger and more powerful. He can hear a dragon growling within.

He stayed for the same position for almost a day before stabilizing.

”Hhuuuuh...” Naga opened his eyes and smiled.

He continued, ”At least, it's done now.”

He smiled and saw the Book still guarding him. When he looked at the Book and about to express his gratitude, it unsummoned itself. 'Puff.'

'What a weird Book.' He lightly smiled.

Naga stood up and went outside, it is a new morning and the forest is quite peaceful. He didn't know that the beasts left since they were scared when they felt a strong dragon presence inside the cave.

'Well, I'm hungry. I will set a camp here and eat. I just finished absorbing a dragon heart so I do not have the mood to walk.' Naga smiled. He planned to just lazy around. He got two dragon hearts and a lot of dragon stones, those alone are enough for him.

He activated his earring and picked up a tent, a water canteen and rations. He set up the tent then he went to a nearby tree and put a chair and a table under it. He sat down and ate his ration.

”What? Is he here for a vacation?” A huge red dragon is watching Naga. He decided to go down.

'Boom!' Naga was surprised when a huge dragon landed into the ground. It looked overbearing and powerful.

”Human, who are you?” The dragon asked in a tyrannical way.

”Greetings. I'm...” Before Naga can finish it the dragon interrupted him.

”Save it for a later talk. I'll test you first!” The dragon said and then suddenly attacked with a fire breath.

”Hey!” Naga was shocked. He jumped to the side and quickly used his arcane for power blessing.

'The hell with this?' Naga thought to himself.

The red dragon flipped it wings with pwerful force and a stronf gust of wind striked Naga.
