18 Visiting The Child (1/2)

Naga woke up too early. There's no sunlight yet. He looks at the clock and the current time is 3AM. He went outside his room and as expected no breakfast serving yet however, there are still remaining food from last night. He sits down in one of the chairs and started eating.

After that, he rested for a few minutes in the big sofa before going out. He did't wake up anyone. He went at the back of the hotel again, the same corner as yesterday. The trees are as beautiful as ever.

Old Drun told him that he and the old elf put special magic scriptions in the Iron Crow Medallion. One of its uses is casting a mid-rank invisible barrier that can help supressing magic aura.

Naga summoned the book. He looked for the pages about Arcane Power Blessings and Bow of Great flame. He carefully studied the writings and he checked wisdom from the old sages too. He has information about the two arcane techniques in his head but he still checked the book to be more enlightened.

He tried the Arcane Power Blessings to himself. He was surprised since he can already feel its effect but it seems that he can't cancel the effect. He needs to wait for the time limit.

”Wow! Nice. I can feel the increase of power.” Naga smiled. He's in a good mood.

Checking the book for the detail and wisdom of the old sages helps a lot. This made him more efficient with using the blessing. Instead of the 'up to 20%' status, he's confident now of always giving a fix 20% increase in physical power.

He lifted his left hand and focus. He used his mana reserve in generating an extreme heat of energy. It turned into fire then formed a bow. It seems that the fire turned into a solid object, a great bow.

”This is magical! Hahah...” Naga laughed but then he stopped after remembering that this is actually a magic bow in the first place.

He lightly coughed. 'Well, then. It's not that I can fire arrows here and not cause any commotion but at least I get the gist of it.' He got disappointed since he is looking forward in shooting arrows.

He opened the and started checking it again. He saw detail about scrolls yesterday and was greatly interested. He climbed the biggest tree and rested on a trunk then he started reading about scrolls. The sun is rising too and it was a wonderful view.

The group is having their breakfast and preparing for the day. They are really thankful to the hotel staffs.

”Where's Naga?” Albert asked.

”Master didn't wake us up. However, it seems that he is practicing now.” Bill smiled then started eating a sweet bread.

”Oh... Practicing huh? I hope that he will not be as difficult as Dilan someday.” Nicholas said while chewing a bread.

”What did you say? You're a mage too and look at you...” Dilan looked at Nicholas.

”Hahaha. Stop it you bastards. I can't believe that the two of you are mages.” Albert laughed at them.

”Yes, we are mages!” Dilan proundly said.

”And former bandits too.” Nicholas smiled.

”You...” Dilan doesn't know how to continue.

”HaHaha!”

Everyone laughed out loud. They are really cheerful right now. Everyone know how challenging the coming days will be so they wanted to have fun as much as possible. What a lively group. After a few hours of rest and preparation, the group left the hotel.

Naga unsummoned the book smiling. He jumped down to the ground. He learned a lot today. He's getting a better picture now of how he can leverage his advantages.

He did some excercises and body conditioning then after that, he trained his physical body for a few hours.

”Wah. Tiring.” Naga is smiling while lying in the ground full of sweat. He noticed the blue sky.
