Chapter 397 - Assembling The Team (2/2)

Hummingbird threw her pillow at the man's face and slipped her gun into the waist of her pants. She then went to open the door.

Standing in the doorway was a bulky Chinese man. ”You are making too much noise in here...” he said. He then glanced at Wolf and saw the mess in the room. ”Were you guys fighting?” he asked.

Hummingbird immediately apologized, ”I'm sorry, did we disturb you?”

Was this a guest from next door?

Without a word, the Chinese man stepped into the room and closed the door behind him, ”That's it, I'm taking charge from here!”

Hummingbird looked at the man in confusion. What did he mean? What was he taking charge of and why did he come in uninvited?

Hummingbird ran her eyes across the man's arm and saw some scars. Paired with his stern face and threatening vibe, Hummingbird had a bad feeling. She immediately grabbed her gun and pointed it at him.

But, to her surprise, the man immediately knocked the gun out of her hand and restrained her.

”Who are you?” Hummingbird asked as she struggled in his grip.

”Sasquatch...” the man replied, ”and I'm here to lead this operation.”

Hummingbird stopped struggling when she realized who Sasquatch was and he slowly let her go. ”I thought you were arriving later today...” Hummingbird said.

”I caught an earlier flight. If I didn't arrive earlier, you two may have killed each other. I don't want to see the two of you fight like children again. We are here on a serious mission,” Sasquatch frowned. He then walked over to a chair and sat down.

”Now...let me explain how we're getting into Amun's base.”

Hummingbird looked at the man in surprise, ”Do you know how to get there?”

Sasquatch looked at the woman calmly, ”What do you think I'm doing here?”

With Lotus' permission, Sasquatch had her memories transferred to him and he now knew the exact route to Amun's base and even the layout of it...

As he started to sketch out a map in front of the other two BTA agents and Hummingbird explained some of the weapons she had, Wolf sighed and joked, ”I suddenly feel really useless here...”
