Chapter 320 - The Man With The Dragon Tattoo (2/2)

”Thank you,” Avaleigh said.

Albert glanced at the man with an impressed expression on his face, ”That's more like it!” He felt a regained faith in humanity.

With a smile, he quickly ran over to thank the man as well.

But, as he approached, the man turned away without a word and disappeared into the crowd like nothing had happened.

Avaleigh held onto the lemons with confusion. The man didn't say a word or even look into her eyes. He simply handed her the lemons and walked off. What a strange person.

Before long, Albert helped Avaleigh carry all her shopping into his car and they began to drive back to Emerson's apartment.

”Wow, Miss Song, you bought so much,” Albert chuckled as he drove, trying his best to lighten the mood as he tried to hurry through the peak-hour traffic.

Avaleigh glanced at her watch. She had gotten too carried away shopping that she didn't even notice the time. Would she be able to prepare the feast that she had in mind before Emerson got home?

She then looked at the traffic outside the window and sighed. At this rate, would she even make it home before Emerson?

Albert noticed the stressed expression on Avaleigh's face and thought about the scene from earlier. Was she upset because she dropped her things and no one helped her? Of course, he couldn't read Avaleigh's mind, so he had no idea what she was actually thinking.

As his mind wandered off onto its own tangent, he remembered the strange man that disappeared into the crowd earlier and his imagination began to run wild again. Who was that man? Why did he come and go without a word? Was he a masked neighborhood hero that voluntarily helped people without asking anything in return?

If he was a hero, what would his name be? He had a blue cap, a black mask, a black leather coat, blue jeans...and a dragon tattoo on his arm...

As Albert thought about the tattoo, his eyes suddenly opened wide and he remembered something else. Last night, one of his customers had a tattoo like that as well! He couldn't remember if the two tattoos were exactly the same, but he was sure they were both dragons and they were both on the man's arm. He also remembered that the man from last night was also wearing a blue cap and a black mask. What a coincidence.

Most interesting of all, he had picked up that man from Royal Sunset Hotel after he dropped Avaleigh off...

Was he a guest at the hotel?
