Avaleigh was surprised by this greeting. Normally, Donald would already know what was going on and would be explaining a plan to tackle the scandal. Why did this man sound like he had no idea what was happening? Avaleigh lifted her head to look at the man. But...she suddenly froze.
Emerson stared at the woman. She felt oddly familiar, but he couldn't quite figure out why.
Avaleigh, on the other hand, recognized him straight away. She was the man she met on the metro! The man that accidentally kissed her and caused her to be thrown into her current scandal!
Avaleigh's manager noticed the two just staring each other and no one was saying a word, so she gave Avaleigh a nudge. Didn't she say she was doing the talking?
Avaleigh frowned, ”Haven't you seen the scandal yet?”
Emerson looked at the woman with confusion. How could he know about the scandal when neither she nor Danson had told him about it yet. But, just as he was about to respond, Danson's secretary said, ”The PR team is already working on it, Miss Song. The President just wants to know if there was anything else he could do to help.”
Danson had asked the secretary to help Emerson and the secretary knew Emerson had been thrown into the deep end without any information so she quickly spoke up. He was simply sitting there as a representative and as a sign of respect to their client. The poor thing had no idea what was going on.
Emerson quickly got the gist and said, ”Yes, we are already working on it.”
At that moment, Avaleigh pulled out her phone, leaned forward, and showed a photo to Emerson. ”In that case, how are you planning to explain our kiss?” she asked quietly.
Emerson glanced down at the phone in confusion. Our kiss? What did she mean?
Avaleigh's manager did not understand Cantonese and the secretary did not hear what they said. All they saw was Emerson's eyes open wide in surprise as he glanced down at the young woman's phone...
It was a photo of him kissing the girl he met on the metro...Why was there a photo of it?
