Chapter 63 (2/2)

Lin Wenxi suddenly smiled, “Go down and take a cold shower.”

Zhao Yuan agreed tamely. But Lin Wenxi’s face blushed again. He thought to himself, “Why? What’s wrong with me today? I have just drenched it with cold water. Why does it rebel again?” Lin Wenxi ran down once more, and then he refused to return to the room.

“Again… It’s snowing… Let’s go out for a walk.” Zhao Yuan was also quite annoyed. He went downstairs with his toes pointing outwards. Both of them had some dirty motives and they all walk out the door with a really wield posture.

The cold wind was blowing their faces, Lin Wenxi couldn’t help but shudder with cold. Zhao Yuan wanted to take his jacket off and gave it to him, but he looked at Lin Wenxi hesitantly. Then he couldn’t help but laugh. Lin Wenxi also lowered his eyebrows and looked down whose face was as red as roses now.

The flying snow was boundless and the sky was far and wide. They walked side by side to the Zhegui Bridge. The river wind was whistling. The shadows of the lights on both sides reflected on the sparkling water, a lot like the bright lights from the windows waiting for the children to return home. Zhao Yuan quietly reached out his hands. He tried a few times and finally managed to grab Lin Wenxi’s little hands in his hands.

At that point, Lin Wenxi felt that everything was quiet down, and the barriers in his chest were gone, “A little righteousness, a thousand miles of free wind!”

Zhao Yuan smiled and said nothing. He only felt that he was full of energy in his chest, and it also seemed that his heart had settled down. The first time in his life, he felt so stable.

“You tell me, what’s wrong with us?” Lin Wenxi asked.

“You should ask what’s wrong with them…” Zhao Yuan said.

“Be serious.” Lin Wenxi reproached coyly.

“Why do you think that I am not serious? We are so good now. They probably just want to make friends.” Zhao Yuan simply sang a classical song, “I am looking for a friend. I find a good friend. We salute each other and shake our hands.”

“Don’t be childish!” Lin Wenxi stared at him.

“If Zheng Kai were here, he would say something like from the biological point of view that it’s a stress response of the cerebral cortex, and then the brain will secrete…” said Zhao Yuan.

“Uh-huh…” Lin Wenxi no longer wanted to talk about this topic, so he asked, “What do you think of Gu Xi and Zheng Kai?”

“Gu Xi is merely a child that he doesn’t know anything. If he continues to pester Zheng Kai, something will happen to him one day sooner or later.” Zhao Yuan said.

“What will happen to him that day?”

“He will turn into ashes or his fragrance will vanish. You have more extensive vocabulary than me, you say it yourself.”

“No, it can’t be…”

“Zheng Kai is not Wang Zhengjuan, Gu Xi is not Zhou Nannan. The world is not running according to personal will. He should let it go if it is the time to, shouldn’t he?” Zhao Yuan said sternly.

Lin Wenxi was a little depressed.

“The wind is getting stronger, let’s go back.” Zhao Yuan yawned slightly. He loosed Lin Wenxi’s hand, and held his shoulder. The figures of them soon disappeared into the snow night.

That night, they slept back to back. None of them dared to get close to each other, because only in this way could they sleep in peace during the night.
