An invisible force pulled the royal guards up and soon they were stuck to the shape of the dragon spirit, then horrible screams and loud crouching noises sounded as the royal guards were sucked into the body of the dragon spirit until none remained, then the dragon spirit turned its gaze to the group
[Mercury's women huh… Heh, YOU'LL ALL BECOME MY ENERGY THEN I'LL TAKE DOWN MERCURY ONCE AND FOR ALL AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!]
The dragon spirit kicked off the balcony making it collapse and shot through the air towards the group, Asma was the first to attack it with her word magic

The dragon spirit was hit by the 7 word magic seals and slowed down somewhat before Jey and Ben both charged forwards and leaped from the ground and slashed out at the dragon spirit with breakneck speed, the dragon spirit blocked and was sent flying back towards the mansion by the impact, the next instance it smashed into the mansion, the dragon spirit was out of the mansion almost as quickly as it entered it as it charged at the group while letting out a maniacal laughter

”Marie!”
”Got it, [Forging blows]!”
Marie stabbed forwards with her viper spear, unfortunately, her stab missed as the dragon spirit morphed its body to avoid the stab as it slashed out with its claws, Marie didn't block, she didn't need to as Jey appeared and blocked the blow for her while Marie took some distance
[Nuisance!]
The dragon spirit lashed out with its tail, however, it only stuck an afterimage of Jey, as it did Ben appeared behind it and slashed out with his sword carving a big cut into the dragon spirit back
[Annoying!]
The tail of the dragon sprit sent Ben flying back, he crashed against the walls of the mansion and to the royal guard, Jenny's surprise he got right up and charged back at the dragon spirit
”What's that guy made of..?”
Julia that stood next to her tilted her head before she chuckled and spoke
”Oh Ben, what was it he used to say..? Oh right, Gin and bad decisions”
”...Right… Shouldn't we do something, you know help out?”
”I didn't bring my crossbow, besides the barrier weakened for a moment when Ben hit the wall, so he's on his way… As long as he can escape Party's clutch that is”
Jenny tilted her head
Mercury looked towards the mansion before he muttered
”You sneaky, scaly mother trucker…”

”It's the dragon spirit again”

Mercury stood up from the table that Party had summoned before he kicked off the ground and disappeared from view leaving Party alone at the table that stood outside the South gate, she pouted for a bit before she sighed and showed a wry smile…
Mercury stopped in front of the lord's mansion before he closed his eyes to feel the surroundings, soon he opened them again and looked towards the lord's mansion before he nodded and muttered
”Nice isolation barrier, it would be a shame if something happened to it”
Then he stomped his foot once sending out a pulse that traveled through the ground before it identified the weak points of the barrier formation, the power source, a few magic beast cores in the basement of the mansion, then Mercury stomped his foot again and a few seconds later a rock spike shot out from the wall of the underground room in the mansion breaking the central magic beast core into pieces revealing the situation inside the walls
