I was almost surprised to see the icon. There's only one point up there, and that's me. The other two aren't even in range.
I was wondering if there was something wrong with my watch. Even if it was on top, it could still be displayed. It was impossible for the three points to overlap perfectly.
So it's not our people up there, or... Not human?
Thinking about the voice just now, my head started to spin. I didn't expect such a thing to happen. Could it be that the fire had made me confused? Or did Achilles and the others come in?
The initial announcement had been that the two teams were exploring together, but for some reason, Achilles' team hadn't come to participate. How could there be someone else in a place like this where birds can't poop?
I held my head as I stood up. My entire body was trembling, and I felt as if my body had collapsed. I wobbled towards the door.
The luggage on my back felt like a mountain, and I was swaying, ready to fall at any moment. I saw a white face on the ground, and my eyes, ears, and nose were all just a faint silhouette of shadow.
I tried to beat myself awake, but no matter how hard I squeezed my thigh, it didn't work. I slid into the darkness.
I don't want to wake up from this sleep, but my hand is being pulled high up by something. I just wanted to follow it, but was being tossed around by it.
”Thank God your son is awake.” An old voice said.
”You're awake?” In front of me was a teapot, and an old orange hand was gripping the handle. A cool liquid flowed down my throat, relieving the dry pain I hadn't noticed earlier.
Water is the source of life. After recovering, I immediately thanked him. ”Thank you …” His voice was so hoarse that it sounded like a mosquito that had been bitten. The moment he spoke, he hurt so much that it felt as though his words were about to tear him apart.
I shut my mouth and realized that the ”your son” was referring to me.
A hand supported my back and steady and strong helped me up. My back was cold, but the bottom of my butt was very comfortable. I slightly lowered my head. There was a beige thick cushion underneath.
Just as I was about to fall asleep again, an enlarged face full of stubble appeared before my eyes. I couldn't make a sound, so I could only silently shout in my mind.
”Father!”
The square face in front of me is my old man. After not seeing him for a while, this old man has become a lot more decadent. His beard is three times bigger than before, almost half of his face is covered.
Dad carefully examined me for a while and withdrew his face, ”You should rest here for a while. It's very safe here. If you're tired, you should sleep for a while. ”
I also wanted to sleep, but Wei Yuting and what happened before I found her didn't seem to be able to rest at all.
My father seemed to be able to read my thoughts and said, ”I will look for your two friends who came with me. You don't have to worry too much. It's not dangerous here. ”
My father had always been a man of his word, and I was relieved, but I didn't want to sleep. My gaze fell to the pile of luggage that lay beside me.
It was truly shabby. Compared to Song Ping and the others, the rich and handsome duo instantly fell into poverty. There was the blanket next to the tent, where I was sitting, and even a huge pot bubbling.
This look of comfort made him look like he was on a trip!
My heart was filled with envy and hatred. Even though I felt defeated, I didn't refuse to accept it.
Whether it was Achilles or my father, their team had a habit of choosing a safe and secure environment within the area they were inspecting as their base of operations, so that they would not be in such a sorry state.
The three of us are still too young, after all. As a result, there was no way out in case of an accident, because there was no place safe, not even a relatively safe place.
I took a deep breath. The air was filled with spicy rabbit soup that made my mouth water.
I looked out. The whole area was like a plate under a cover, but the edges weren't smooth. Looking at the open space, it was definitely not created by them. It should be used for their own purposes. I was leaning against the stone wall with a cushion behind my head.
I took a deep breath.
From the looks of it, I'm either underground or in a cave. My ability to move space and my dad's ability to move space, and my ability to sense that I was about to die, meant that the probability of teleporting to the undersea world was less than zero, which meant that I was still at the bottom of the sea.
The sound I had heard might have been my father and the others coming down in some way, then finding and recognizing me.
Then the question is!
I began to frame my mind.
My father disappeared before National Day on the grounds of a business trip. It was now December 25th, two months after he had disappeared, and there was only one call for me and Old Man Song to go with us to find a key in the shape of a tomb beast. Behind us, we discovered that the two of us weren't in the same team as ourselves. The two of us had an extraordinary amount of hatred and history, so we died in the end. He had never seen any text messages or phone calls before. Previously, he had only played with his phone for a short period of time, so he didn't feel anything. Now that he met him, this strange feeling gushed out like the tide.
My mind was in a mess. I couldn't form a frame of mind for many things. I just felt like I had forgotten something very important.
I drowsily fell asleep. After I woke up, everyone had already returned. I heard the sound of soup coming from my side. Turning my head, it was my father.
Seeing that I had woken up, he didn't rush. He slowly finished the soup and took out a new paper bowl. He then scooped a bowl and gave it to me.
My hands had already been freed. After pouring the soup into my stomach, I wiped my mouth and asked my father, ”Why are you here?”
”Don't worry about that for now.” He touched his chin. ”Your friends are inside. Would you like to take a look?”
I ran to the tent he was pointing to, but there was no sound. I reached out to lift the curtain, but my father held onto my wrist. ”Don't go in. They need to rest.” What happened to them?! ” I scratched my ears and cheeks, but had to ask in a low voice.
