”They are comfortable.” She snorted adding more in her defense. Is it childish?

The warmth and nervousness behind her chilly facade made him want to tease her more.

He pulled out another box which had a T-shirt and pants.

”Did you buy them too?” his voice softened. This time no cartoon print, but simple plain sky blue T shirt.

Until this day, the man always dressed in formal suits. Would he wear them? Did he like them? She searched for any signs on his face.

She regretted faced with indifferent expressionless Vivan.

Why would that boy bring these clothes? She had casually dumped them in her cupboard.

”Yes, that day I went shopping.”

”With Reeya?”

”Hmm, I bought them. No, Reeya... she bought them,” she blurted out, flustered.She talked and didn't realize he was staring at her with a sly smile.

Yet the mention of Reeya shook her for a moment. It was a pity, she won't get to spend days like those in the future. She got selfish and chose her husband's life over her friends. But then they had their fate entangled due to presence of Ashay. He liked Reeya so did Ira.

Vivan, on the other hand, was on cloud nine. As it turns out, she didn't forget him that day. He glanced at Ira fidgeting with her clothes, waiting for his response.

”Okay, I have to wear it for my wife to see.” Vivan pinched her nose.

A beam appeared on her face. Her fair cheeks looked beautiful under the mild sunshine falling from the window.
