When Zeng Jie left, he could not help but heave a sigh of relief, ”I've finally sent this god of pests away.”

Zeng Jie's expression was still a little ugly, his methods were still as sinister as before.

Seeing his expression, Chen Jiajia comforted him, ”Don't worry, just ignore him. If he comes to find me again, I'll ignore him.” And then she went home.

Zeng Jie naturally would not let it go so easily. Since he was unable to meet Chen Jiajia, he had no choice but to let her meet him.

”Sister Jiajia, the boss wants you to go to his office. He said that he has a case for you to take over.” Inside the office, someone informed Chen Jiajia.

Chen Jiajia replied, she did not think much and entered the office, only to see Zeng Jie smiling at her from the sofa, Chen Jiajia's expression instantly became colder.

”Jiajia, this is the Young Master Zeng. He said that he has a case that he wants you to help him with. You guys can have a good chat.” The boss did not know what happened between them, and happily introduced them to Chen Jiajia.

Chen Jiajia was about to reject, but she was interrupted.

Zeng Jie thanked the boss: ”Thank you, boss. Then, can I borrow your staff to discuss the details?” The owner nodded and looked at Chen Jiajia. Chen Jiajia had no choice but to follow Zeng Jie out.

”What do you want to eat? How's the food? ” Zeng Jie turned and asked.

Chen Jiajia did not continue walking forward nor did she respond as she coldly looked at Zeng Jie.

Zeng Jie knew what Chen Jiajia was thinking, and he smiled calmly: ”Have you thought about how you're going to explain this to your boss when you get back, and I do have a case that requires your help.” Chen Jiajia had no choice but to get on the carriage with him.

Zeng Jie found a quiet place, he casually flipped through the menu and ordered some food. Chen Jiajia didn't want to waste any time with him: ”What case do you want to talk to me about?”

Zeng Jie's smile gradually faded as he put down the menu and looked at Chen Jiajia: ”Is it so hard to talk to me normally? How can you talk and laugh with me? Can't you even talk with me? ”

Chen Jiajia pursed her lips, and said coldly: ”I simply don't want to get involved with you.”

”I'm afraid you won't be able to do as you wish.” Zeng Jie pretended to be regretful and said.

Seeing that Chen Jiajia was not happy, Zeng Jie knew that he could not force her any further, so he said in a considerate tone, ”Then let's talk about the case.”

Chen Jiajia nodded and changed the topic.

”My father has a few illegitimate children, and his body has been getting worse every day. Those people can't help but prepare to get a share. So, I want you to be my consultant and try to make sure they don't get a dime. ” Zeng Jie told them the whole story.

Chen Jiajia thought for a moment, then shook her head: ”This is not too realistic, according to the law, it depends on your father's will. Unless he doesn't want your brothers to get a share of the profits, I am powerless in this matter.”

”How could he do that? Recently, he has been completely captivated by those women.” Zeng Jie taunted, and did not have the slightest attitude towards his father.
