Some say that the civil war in Paris was the true end of the Franco-Prussian war, but it would be more accurate to say that it ended all the romanticism of the history of human warfare.

The war history of mankind, although cruel, still existed in the ancient times with this romantic sentiment. Spring and Autumn had the spirit of righteousness, Europe had the spirit of chivalry, punitive wars to the end, and there were even those that did not fight for any benefits but only for morality!

Humanity's childhood and youth were always filled with all sorts of fantasy. Although it was laughable, it could not be denied that that was the most beautiful era for humans!

But ever since they had entered the Industrial Revolution, especially after entering the Second Industrial Revolution, humans had finally entered the cruel world of adults!

The Franco-Prussian War was the dividing line between the Industrial Revolution and the Second Industrial Revolution. After this division, Romanticism was completely replaced by benefits, and the war became even more heartless.

Industrialization added military strength, made killing more efficient, the development of various technologies made war more orthodox, and it was no longer possible to distinguish between the frontlines and the rear.

No one was spared from the war, and there was no longer any fighting between the two tribes like a battle between two armies. What a beautiful era that was!

All wars came with a few points. The victorious side celebrated their return home with a treaty and an indemnity. However, the losing side would not say that the country was completely destroyed.

Although the lives of the citizens on both sides of the war were a bit tough, at least they could stay away from it!

However, after the war, all the way until World War I and World War II, war was not as amorous as it seemed. The moment war broke out, it would be a war of total extinction between nations.

From the border to the back, every city would be in flames of war!

large caliber's artillery shells, strong explosives, poison gas, chemical weapons, aircraft, tanks... Until the birth of nuclear weapons, humans had never been able to kill their own kind so easily.

As for the new tactical thinking, it made the war more three-dimensional. There was no fixed line of fire anymore, nor was there a battlefield where two armies fought each other.

A long detour, a long turn, a long journey... The legions could always easily destroy every farm and flatten every undefended city in the rear.

Nationality, race, the war between the country and the country had become more and more brutal. What was even more frightening was the severe social disintegration that had occurred between countries!

The scale of the civil war began to increase at an alarming rate!

This civil war in France officially announced to the world that the cruelty of war was not limited to just between countries. Even within a country, there would be almost genocidal killings!

Xiao Letian pointed at the table with both hands, and the map in front of him was filled with all kinds of numbers, arrows, and weapon model books. The generals around him were racking their brains to absorb the man's brainstorm.

Outside the tent, there was the clamorous and orderly sound of people in the refugee camp. The wounded in the emergency ward were screaming in pain, and the supply carriages were crushing the stone roads. The soldiers who were maintaining order were pulling at their necks as they shouted … Outside the camp, refugees came to the camp almost every hour.

Who knew what those refugees experienced when they rushed into the camp. More than ten refugees with their bodies covered in blood might have a chance formed by the lives of over a hundred refugees behind them.

There were no good people in this civil war. The government army was killing the citizens, and the commune was starting to slaughter the people as well … The refugees who had no other choice but to band together and fight.

Not everyone was lucky enough to board the airship, but most of the citizens were cruel enough to strive for survival based on probability.

Usually, a group of two to three hundred people would gather together and plan their way towards the refugee camp. On the way, they would encounter countless attacks from the enemy.

The government forces will fire their cannons and the National Guard will fire their cannons... However, they had no other choice. They knew very well that it was better to wait for death than seven or eight out of a hundred people who could survive!
