C2806 cruel suppression (1/2)

The criminals who were illegally tried in the prison were not the worst of the lot. The worst were the illegal newspapers in the suburbs of Paris and the underground printing plant.

First of all, there were the three illegal publications like the Masai newspaper, Democratic newspaper and Lantern newspaper that supported Blanqui's thoughts. The three newspapers that had been observed for a long time in plain clothes suddenly had countless thugs rush in.

These thugs were armed with machetes, pistols, iron rods, and kerosene drums. Whenever they saw someone, they would hack them down. The entire newspaper would be thrown into chaos.

”Bang!” Shatter everything! Let you write nonsense! ”Bang! Bang! Bang!”

”Stop! We are a legitimate newspaper, and we have a registration notice! ”

”Fuck your registration …” The leader of the thugs smashed the editor's head with an iron pipe, causing blood to spurt out far.

”His Majesty has given you a temporary permit to let you know what is good for you! This is to let you know when to advance! I'm not asking you to speak nonsense! ”

”You dare to spread rumors? That's illegal publications! ”Beat …”

The thug's iron rod smashed into the editor's head. After four or five hits, the editor was beaten to death on the table, blood and brains splattered everywhere.

Only then did the leader of the thugs straighten his back and grab the draft news that he had just written the first time on the table.

”Maritime War in Eastern Frisia? A battle of great humiliation against the Empire? The entire combined fleet made of heavy gold was completely wiped out? Bastard … You'll publish it just a little later, won't you? ”Kill them all …”

The infuriated thug swung his metal rod at the body of the chief editor a few more times to vent his anger, kicking that piece of evidence into his arms as well!

”Brothers!” Don't let any of them go, kill them all! Today's prize money is double! ”

”Long live!” The thugs were shouting excitedly, their attacks even more vicious!

One of the thugs pushed a young female editor onto the table and yelled, ”Bitch, I'll let you write that! ”I told you to write …”

After cursing angrily, he hacked down with the machete in his hand, chopping off the female editor's hands in the end!

”Bang!” Smash all the printing presses! ” With a round swing of the iron hammer, the ink printing press was smashed into smithereens.

This was simply a one-sided massacre, and those type workers couldn't look at this. Their lives were in danger! Helpless, they grabbed what they could fight against and started to counterattack.

”Shoot!” The spies who killed these enemies! People who oppose the Emperor... Kill without mercy! ”

Pah pah pah … Guns were fired one after another, and the workers in the printing shop were knocked down one by one into a pool of blood.

The atrocities lasted for a full half an hour. The newspapers hidden in the village and the printing plant.

More than ten black caravans stopped at the entrance, and the broken bodies were carried out and thrown into the carriage. The pungent smell of blood made the horses restless.

”Sprinkle kerosene! ”Burn away everything here …”

As the fire raged, the newspaper was engulfed in flames. All night long, the Lantern, the Democracy, and the Masai had been burned, and more than two hundred editors, journalists, and workers had been killed.

What made the later generations even more indignant was that after everyone's corpses were pulled away, no one knew how they were disposed of. Perhaps they found a mass grave to bury them in, or perhaps they threw them into the ocean.

After the war, the social structure had been greatly destroyed. These violent thugs had all died in the end without leaving a single word behind. As a result, even the burial ground of more than two hundred ghosts had become a mystery.

Countless future generations could only build monuments at the newspaper site, coming here every year on this tragic anniversary to offer their condolences!

The ruthless methods of the Monastery shocked the entire Paris. Even the worker Self Guard s under Blanqui's command had restrained themselves for a moment.
