She opened the crimson wooden door, and found a figure she couldn’t be more familiar with outside—

A bright smile registered on Su Jianan’s face. She didn’t know if Captain Yan and others had heard the noise because they unanimously went out of their rooms. They let out some exaggerated exclamation and teased her with all the embarra.s.sing words they could think of.
“Jianan, this is against the rules, you know. But I’ll approve this on behalf of Captain Yan since Mr. Lu came all the way for you!”
“Killing single dogs again. Jianan, you must feel so sweet, right?”
Su Jianan already blushed to the extreme, so she directly buried her face in Lu Boyan’s arms like an ostrich. “Come inside the room!”
While saying, she dragged Lu Boyan into the room and slammed close the door.
The moment Lu Boyan came in, he felt the temperature too low. He reached out to feel the heat by the heating fan and frowned. “Is this thing working?”
“… the entire heating in this hostel is just willful like that.”

“Didn’t you pack heating pads for me? I’ll use them.” Su Jianan smiled casually. “Even without them, I’ll be warm after sleeping for a while. I’m not that delicate.”
She was not delicate, while Lu Boyan felt sorry for her. “There are so many hotels. Why didn’t you live a hotel?”
“We usually stay in hostels on business trips. Even if I want to live in hotels, other colleagues might not want to. We’re a team, and I don’t want to be special…”

Su Jianan blinked. “What for?”
“To change a hostel for you.”

Su Jianan packed her things in doubt, and soon Lu Boyan returned. He picked her suitcase and led her out of the room.
Captain Yan, Xiao Ying, and other members had actually been waiting outside.
Finally, Su Jianan knew what Lu Boyan was up to, and the “other hostel” he mentioned was actually a five-star hotel near the City G’s CBD. In any room of the hotel, they could see the bright lights by the river and the landmarks on the other bank.
Fetching the room card, Xiao Ying excitedly rushed to hug Su Jianan. “My first time in a five-star hotel! Tonight, you must ‘thank’ Boss Lu for us very sincerely!”
Captain Yan and others echoed Xiao Ying’s words, and Su Jianan felt so embarra.s.sed that she almost wanted to slide into a crack on the floor. However, there was nothing like that on the hotel floor, so she could only pretend to miss the implication in their words. Also, she pretended not to know this was the hotel Lu Boyan and she stayed in last time they visited City G.

“Mr. Lu, Mrs. Lu, this is your room card.” The hotel manager sent the room card to Lu Boyan in person.
Moreover, it turned out to be the room they stayed in last time!
The heat in the suite was working properly, and Su Jianan finally stopped quivering. After unpacking her things, she found Lu Boyan taking off his clothes.

Lu Boyan smiled and strolled into the bathroom.
Su Jianan flushed and slid between the sheets. She didn’t know if Lu Boyan had closed the door solid, because she could hear the water splattering on the bathroom floor.
She had been on her feet doing experiments for half of the day, sorting and writing reports more for several hours. Now, Su Jianan felt very tired actually. Thus, listening to the splattering water, she felt drowsy.
How long it had been, she didn’t know. She only felt that she was back in the familiar chest, breathing in the familiar scent. Immediately, it soothed her and made her relax.
“Hubby…” She was drifting out of consciousness and could only mumble by instinct.
Lu Boyan branded a kiss between her eyebrows. “Goodnight.”
Su Jianan immediately fell into the dark and sweet dreams and slept through the night.

Su Jianan just woke up, only to find Lu Boyan getting changed through her blurry vision. Thus, she scrambled up as well. “You’re going back to City A today?”
She knew that in the near future, Lu Boyan didn’t have any arrangements in City A. He probably appeared here yesterday just on a whim.
“I’ll go back after breakfast with you.” Lu Boyan brushed Su Jianan’s tangled hair, which was messy after a night’s sleep. “It’s still early. Go back to sleep.”
