Chapter 325 The First Meeting of Yaya
A Miao glanced at Shen Xinglan, who gave her a reassuring look.
“Mom?” When A Miao did not give Yaya a hug, she could not help stretching out her hands. “Mother hug me!”
After picking up the little girl, A Miao greeted Shen Xinglan. “Director Shen…”
“Miss Lan.” Shen Xinglan smiled.
Uncle Fu walked from behind and gestured, “Mr. Shen, please come in!”
“Grandpa!” A Miao held Yaya, and sat down on the sofa.
Yaya slipped from her, turned around to grab a paper bag from Shen Xinglan, and dragged it towards Lan Lixiao.
“Mom’s grandpa?” She stood in front of Lan Lixiao and tilted her head.
The little girl looked at him with big, shimmering eyes. Lan Lixiao’s plan to frighten Shen Xinglan was instantly eliminated by her cuteness, and he touched her head, with a smile.
“Hm, I am. Who are you?”
Yaya made a formal bow and softly said, “My name is Shen Tongguan. I’m three years old this year. People call me Yaya.”
“Hahh!” Uncle Fu couldn’t help laughing.
Lan Lixiao also smiled and touched Yaya’s little head. “Hello, we welcome you to our home as our guest!”
“Thank you, this is my gift for you!” Yaya pushed the bag forward with some difficulty.
Uncle Fu helped her pick it up quickly. It was a box of tea that was rare, and hard to buy in the market.
“How do you know I like tea?” Lan Lixiao took a look, as he glanced at Shen Xinglan.
The latter was expressionless, as if she was not his daughter…
“Dad told me!” Yaya answered in a clear voice, then looked at the old man carefully. “Do you like it?”
Lan Lixiao said, “Hmph, that’s okay.”
Yaya’s eyes lit up. “Then… can I call you grandpa like my mother?”
“No, you can’t call me grandpa.” When Lan Lixiao finished speaking, he saw a little tear in Yaya’s eyes, who was obviously trying to stop her tears from flowing down.
Her sad expression… was painful…
Uncle Fu couldn’t stand it anymore and immediately said, “Since he is your mother’s grandfather, you should call him great grandfather.”
“Great… grandfather?” Yaya sniffed and asked. “Then… if I call you great grandfather, great grandfather… will you allow me to take my mother away?”
Lan Lixiao originally wanted to agree, however, after listening to the latter part of her speech, his face became solemn.
“Even if you call me great grandfather, I still can’t allow you to take your mother away, but you can come to my house to see her at any time.”
When Yaya heard that she could not take her mother away, she wanted to cry loudly, but she controlled her tears.
“Can I come here every day?”
“Yes.”
“Can I bring Mom out to play?”
“Yes.”
“Can I bring her back to our house?”
“Yes… No.”
Lan Lixiao blew on his beard and glared at Shen Xinglan. “Director Shen’s daughter is so clever.”
“Grandpa!” A Miao was at a loss whether to cry or to laugh. She brought Yaya to the sofa. “Uncle Fu, please bring me a towel!”
Uncle Fu smiled and came with a towel. A Miao wiped Yaya’s face clean. Shen Xinglan, who had not spoken from beginning to end, said, “Thank you, Elder Master Lan! Since… my daughter has not been so happy.”
“I’m busy with my work and I can’t take care of her. Auntie told me that Yaya often cries secretly, but dared not let me know.”
Yaya blinked, thinking she didn’t cry secretly! But she thought about what Dad said to her. If she did as he said, then she could see her mother every day, so she turned her face into A Miao’s arms.
“I am not a good father.” Shen Xinglan continued to pretend to be pitiful, “Fortunately, Yaya is obedient, otherwise, I really don’t know what to do.”
Uncle Fu looked at Yaya in a loving way, and no one could tell what he was thinking of. He immediately asked the maid to bring snacks and candies. Yaya asked A Miao, before she carefully chose one.
“Great grandfather, do you eat this?” She held it in front of Lan Lixiao. “This is delicious!” She was drooling and staring at the lollipops.
Lan Lixiao deliberately reached for them, and then saw her frowning. He retracted his hand and her face relaxed.
When he reached out his hand, she frowned.

“Pfft!” Uncle Fu could not control himself. This time, even A Miao smiled.
Lan Lixiao also laughed, but the laughter was very obscure. He patted Yaya’s little head and said, “Go ahead, great grandfather won’t eat them!”
“Mom!” Yaya turned to look at A Miao.
A Miao nodded. “Yaya can eat them!”
After the meal, Yaya succeeded in winning the favor of Elder Master Lan. Of course, Uncle Fu and auntie were included. So, when she said she wanted to go out to play with A Miao after the meal, it went very smoothly.
When Shen Xinglan started the car, Yaya happily waved goodbye to Lan Lixiao standing at the door.
“Elder Master, that kid is so lovely!” Uncle Fu felt that he was in a very good mood today.
Lan Lixiao glanced at him. “You let a child win you over so easily. A Fu, you are so useless!”
Uncle Fu smiled. “Doesn’t Elder Master like the child?”
“Though I like the child, didn’t you see Shen Xinglan staring at A Miao at dinner?” Lan Lixiao snorted. “He wants A Miao to be his daughter’s stepmother? No way!”
“Alas…” Uncle Fu’s face became solemn, and he did not talk about it anymore.
