“This picture has been enlarged and there is metal in it, but we cannot identify what kind of metal it is. I think it is better that A Miao should scrape it a little, so we can get a sample to do a detailed test.”
“That’s impossible.” Shen Xinglan glanced at him and said, “There are many security cameras in the collection room, and there is no place to hide.”
“It should be normal if A Miao takes some pictures. She can give the reason that she likes the collection. However, scraping bits of wood from the wooden table without raising any suspicion, would be a dream only.”
“So I will make an appointment to see A Miao, and get her advice.”
Shen Xinglan was in a bad mood and said, “I will be meeting Lan Wenxuan tomorrow, and A Miao will be there”
“Wow! That’s just what we need. At that time, I will take Lan Wenxuan away, so that both of you can have a chance to be with each other.”
When A Miao knew she would be meeting Shen Xinglan and Yaya, she was too excited to sleep well. The next day Lan Wenxuan asked her, when he started the car.
“Are you all right?”

“A little.” A Miao said immediately, “I miss Yaya. She is such a cute baby.”
“You’re right.” Lan Wenxuan remembered her big eyes and plump face. “Grandpa asked me a few questions in the morning. He knows that we will be meeting Shen Xinglan and his daughter.”
A Miao asked, “About the business with Director Shen?”
“Grandpa also asked something about his daughter.” Lan Wenxuan snorted. “He said that he hopes to have a kid at home.”
A Miao saw him looking at her. The expression in his eyes was very strange.

“I can’t take it. ” A Miao leaned against the door of the car. “Becasue I don’t know who I will marry.”

The appointed place was at a private restaurant. When Lan Wenxuan and A Miao arrived, Shen Xinglan and Yaya were in the private room.
“Mom!” Yaya ran to A Miao, as soon as she saw her coming in.
A Miao picked her up. “Don’t you remember?” “I am not your mom.”
“How can she remember at such a young age?” Lan Wenxuan shared the same idea as Lan Lixiao, that of not taking offense at a child’s babble, so he touched Yaya’s head and took a seat opposite to Shen Xinglan.
Yaya put her arms around A Miao’s neck and said, “Mom, can you feed me?”
“Of course!” A Miao did not want to put her in the baby chair, she just held her in her arms.
In Lan Wenxuan’s view, the kid was very attached to A Miao, and he was used to it. So he did not pay any attention to them.
“Director Shen, you must know why I am here.” After all the dishes were served, Lan Wenxuan said, “we can give you anything that the Li family can offer. Please consider it.”
Shen Xinglan glanced at A Miao who was feeding Yaya, and passed her favorite dishes to her quietly, then he said slowly, “I don’t want the Li family to be involved from the beginning, and I am not going to work with anyone.”

These two men talked all the way through the dinner. A Miao and Yaya were stuffed. A Miao walked out with Yaya, and they met Ouyang Jin on the way.
“Why are you here?” Ouyang Jin deliberately asked her loudly.
A Miao replied, amused, “We are here for dinner.”
“Who with?” Ouyang Jin tried to look into the room after he said this.
Lan Wenxuan apparently heard his voice. “Would you like to have a drink?”
“Great, I am looking for you!” Ouyang Jin came in quickly and said, “Let’s go. I have an appointment with my friends. We are going to play cards.”
Lan Wenxuan could not leave yet, so they were at a sort of dead end. At last Shen Xinglan stood up and said, “If you have something to do, you can leave first. Send me your proposal later.”
“Are you Director Shen?” Ouyang Jin shook hands with Shen Xinglan, pretending to be serious and said, “You look younger than your picture in the magazines.”
Lan Wenxuan still wanted to say something, but Ouyang Jin dragged him away.
“I have to send A Miao…”
“Director Shen can send her home.” Ouyang Jin winked at her behind Lan Wenxuan’s back.
Shen Xinglan said with a smile, “Of course. My daughter will be very happy.”
“It’s alright, just go.” A Miao said, “Sorry to trouble you, Director Shen.”
“My pleasure.” Shen Xinglan said calmly. After Ouyang Jin pulled Lan Wenxuan out of the room, his expression changed suddenly.
A Miao thought she would be dazzled when she saw Shen XingLan’s red eyes.
