Lan Wenxuan received a phone call from Lan Hua last night. On the phone, Lan Hua stressed that he should not be too hard on A Miao, especially in front of outsiders and Elder Master.
“Don’t worry. You know that I don’t like any of my relatives, and now, my attitude toward A Miao is just the same as it is to any other relative. If I deliberately get close to her, it will cause Elder Master to become suspicious.”
The low-key Maybach was running on the road silently.

Lan Wenxuan squinted at her and tore his gaze away from her. Everyone in the car became quiet again and there was a vague sense of oppression.
“Miss Lan, I heard that you just returned to the Lan family, didn’t you?” after a while, Ouyang Jin asked and broke the silence.
A Miao looked at the red hair that came out of the front seat and answered, “Yes, I was with my mother before.”
“Keke!” Ouyang Jin glanced at Lan Wenxuan and said, “I probably know what had happened.”
Lan Wenxuan hit the steering wheel indifferently and said, “Is this kind of thing still rare in those rich and powerful families?”
“I mean Miss Lan is just like me!” Ouyang Jin answered breezily.
“No kidding.” Lan Wenxuan glanced at him and said, “How can she be compared with you?”
Ouyang Jin shrugged his shoulders and did not answer.
The car was quiet again and until they reached their destination, no one talked anymore. After parking the car, Lan Wenxuan went to buy the tickets. When they were about to go in, he received a call from the company.

He hung up the phone and threw his hands up and said, “It seems that today I can’t do my best as the host.”
“Is something up?” Ouyang Jin took the tickets and said absent-mindedly, “Go do your work then. Having a beauty to accompany me is enough.”
Lan Wenxuan looked at A Miao and saw her faint expression.
“Forget it, then I’ll have to trouble you to take her back later.” Lan Wenxuan lowered his voice and said, “And, back to my house, not to a hotel!”

Ouyang Jin sighed and said, “Do you think he could be all right? Since you came to Jingcheng City, Shen has hardly rested, smoking all night long. Yaya is okay now. In the beginning, she kept looking for you during the day and crying at night.”
“Now… she has forgotten me.” A Miao said with bitterness slipping over her lips, “It is better to forget me. It can save her from crying.”
“You can rest assured. She is a kid and she’s just getting used to the fact that you are not with her.” Ouyang Jin said, trying to comfort her, “As for forgetting you, that is impossible. I heard that Shen is always showing Yaya photos of you.”
The two walked to a side chamber, where there were fewer tourists than in other places. Ouyang Jin handed her a mobile phone and said, “Call him now. Shen must be anxiously waiting for you!”
“Oh, yes!” A Miao said and took the phone, clicking on it and starting a video chat.
After just one ring, she saw the screen light up.
“Shen Xinglan!” she couldn’t help shouting.
The man on the screen looked no different from the past, but his eyes, which were even prettier than those of women, were particularly bright today.
“A Miao…” He sighed.
A Miao’s tears came down when she heard him call her name.
“Have you been upset? Does anyone bully you?” Shen Xinglan asked anxiously, with his eyes fixed on the screen, for fear of missing even a second.
“I’m so upset…” A Miao said, crying, “All of them are bullying me!”
Ouyang Jin, who was sitting next to her, rolled his eyes.
