Shen Xinglan came out of the bathroom and handed her some clothes. ”Hmm, the anchor has just fallen.”
Seeing that she was in a hurry to wash, Shen Xinglan opened the door and took a look. ”Don't worry, no one has come out yet.”
As he spoke, he saw Wei Meng coming down the stairs.
”Hasn't A Miao woken up yet? I've already had breakfast.”
Shen Xinglan shut the door with a bang.
”I seemed to have heard Wei Meng's voice.” A Miao poked her head out of the bathroom.
”No, it's a man on board.” Shen Xinglan picked up the phone and called for breakfast.
A Miao came out before changing her clothes and cleaning herself up. ”Will we eat in the room?”
The man looked at her affectionately. ”I don't know where we will be tomorrow. I just want to be alone with you for breakfast today.”
”Hmm!” A Miao blushed and went over to hug Shen Xinglan's waist. ”But there's something wrong with you. We'll be together no matter where we are.”
Shen Xinglan kissed her mouth and nodded forcefully.
Probably knowing that the quiet days were over, no one interrupted each other this morning. Near noon, Yu Sihan's subordinate came to inform them that they were getting ready for their equipment.
”Then please go to the upper deck. Our Young Master is waiting for you to have dinner together.”
A Miao changed into light outdoor clothes, waterproof shoes and hats, and carried her backpack on her back.
”I carry it myself.” When she saw Shen Xinglan stretch out his hand, she pulled him. ”This is just the beginning. You can help me when I'm tired!”
Shen Xinglan put his hand on her back and said, ”Let's go!”
After they went out, they met Le Yi, who looked at A Miao and said, ”Don't be so nervous. Maybe it's a very relaxed adventure!”
”Haha...” A Miao squeezed out a smile.
She was really nervous. If she hadn't thought of the man near her and her daughter waiting for them to return, she would have run away.
”Later, you must remember to eat more. No one knows what we'll eat when we get ashore.” Ouyang Jin came over leisurely. ”But I heard that Yu Sihan has prepared good things for us.”
When they arrived on the deck, Yu Sihan was sitting at the other end of the table. Delicate food had been placed on the rectangular table.
”Sit down!” Yu Sihan raised his glass and said, ”Good luck to us.”
Everyone was seated, and instead of giving A Miao seafood, Shen Xinglan put a lot of duck and pork on her plate.
”These kinds of meats are fat and calorie-rich.”
A Miao cut a piece of meat and put it in her mouth. The strong aroma of meat permeated her mouth, but her mood did not improve after eating the delicious food. She thought, ”Eat foods that are rich in fat and calories. Is this in preparation for the possibility that only grass can be eaten next?”
”Is it boring to eat like this?” Yu Sihan began to make trouble again. ”I'll show you some entertainment!”
The sound of rumbling came. The huge tin box was suspended in the air. The bottom of the box, which was originally covered with iron, had two layers. Now it was equipped with a steel pipe as thick as an arm.
The sea snake tried to get out of the crack, but it was too big and could only stick the tip of its tail out.
”Is he going to let the sea snake go?” A Miao asked in a low voice.
Shen Xinglan frowned and opened his mouth when Yu Sihan raised his hand. ”Wait a minute.”
”Mr. Shen, any questions?”
”Whatever you're going to do, do it in 10 minutes,” Shen Xinglan said while cutting a few pieces of meat for A Miao. ”Eat quickly.”
Yu Sihan looked at those two with great interest. ”Mr. Shen always surprises me, but I don't know how much you've guessed.”
”I'm not interested in what you're going to do. But don't disturb my wife's appetite.”
After Shen Xinglan finished speaking, he ignored him and concentrated on serving dishes to A Miao.
”10 minutes is up!”
A Miao just finished the soup. She wiped her mouth and stared at Yu Sihan to see what he was going to do.
The sea snake continued to toss in its cage, and the boat was rocking because of its intense actions. Fortunately, none of them got seasick.
”Start!” Yu Sihan raised his hand.
Shen Xinglan immediately covered A Miao's ears.
”Pop, pop, pop!!!” A series of gunshots went off, accompanied by a burst of a painful wail. The huge sea snake was riddled with bullets in a few minutes.
”Don't look.” Shen Xinglan took her into his arms.
A Miao was rigid and gasped for breath. The sea snake's cry made her afraid. Soon after, the gunfire stopped and the scream faded away.
The boat also became steady.
”Fortunately, you let A Miao finish her meal ahead of time...” Ouyang Jin had been leaning on the railing and watching the whole process.
When the sea breeze blew, A Miao inhaled the thick smell of blood. She felt a tumble in her chest and she couldn't help retching a few times.
”Drink some water.” Shen Xinglan picked up a cup.
Le Yi asked Yu Sihan, ”What are we going to do next?”
Yu Sihan smiled and said, ”Nothing. Just wait!”
