Le Yi called from abroad to remind Shen Xinglan to let A Miao do the psychotherapy.
”What do you think?” Shen Xinglan asked A Miao.
A Miao certainly agreed with it, for it was agreed upon before.
”Should we go to the clinic, or the doctor just come to our house?” She blinked her eyes.
Shen Xinglan pinched her nose and asked, ”Do you want to go out?”
”Hehe!” A Miao held his arm and said, ”it's so boring to stay home every day. And we can breathe some fresh air if we go to the clinic.”
”Then I will have Le Yi make some arrangements.”
Le Yi quickly got it done and sent the address to Shen Xinglan. Incidentally, he gave Shen Xinglan a heads-up.
”That doctor is a little special. She is a lesbian, and she hates men.”
As a result, A Miao noticed Shen Xinglan was overly tense when they arrived at the clinic.
”Shall I go alone?” A Miao knew that he didn't like doctors except for Le Yi.
Shen Xinglan glanced at her, making A Miao feel as if she had said something weird.
”Then why are you keeping a straight face?”
”Nothing.” Shen Xinglan took her into the elevator. ”I am afraid that you might be nervous.”
When A Miao attempted to say that she was not, the elevator stopped and opened, where a tall woman stood outside.
”Mr. and Mrs. Shen.” The woman was wearing glasses in a fitting suit, looking very professional.
What made it even stranger for A Miao was that Shen Xinglan seemed to specifically glance at that doctor.
”Nice to meet you, Dr. Jian.” Shen Xinglan nodded. ”Hope you are as professional as Le Yi said you were.”
Shen Xinglan thought, ”Don't do any strange things to my wife, otherwise...”
”Nice to meet you!” A Miao glanced at Shen Xinglan and smiled to Dr. Jian. ”I'm sorry to bother you.”
Dr. Jian clapped her hands and said to A Miao, ”Please come with me, Mrs. Shen.” She explained while leading the way, ”Dr. Le didn't tell me your detailed information, so we need to check first.”
They entered a warm room beaming with light gold, where nothing was there but a recliner and armchair.
”Please wait in the opposite room, Mr. Shen.” Dr. Jian let A Miao lie on the recliner and frowned when seeing Shen Xinglan refused to go out.
Shen Xinglan also frowned, with much more displeasure. He was squatting beside A Miao and holding her hands. ”Are you afraid of being alone? Let me stay with you.”
”Excuse me, Mr. Shen.”
Before A Miao opened her mouth, Dr. Jian said calmly, ”no third party can interfere in the psychotherapy. Even if you don't want to cooperate with me, you still need to think about your wife.”
Shen Xinglan gave her a cold look and caressed A Miao's cheek. ”I am standing outside. You can call me if anything happens.”
”All right...”
”He is so strange today!” A Miao thought.
Two hours later, A Miao opened the door and saw Shen Xinglan standing against the wall.
She looked at the luxurious lounge across the hall and said, ”Why didn't you rest inside?”
Shen Xinglan took a closer look at A Miao and helped to put on her coat. ”I'm afraid that I can't hear you when you have an emergency.”
”I will call out your name loudly!” A Miao felt a bit sorry for him. ”Don't stand here next time. Go sit inside and rest.”
”Right.” Shen Xinglan smiled and took her into his arms.
Dr. Jian straightened her glasses and stopped them from flaunting PDA.
”Mr. Shen, your wife's situation is not so good, but not that bad. I can cure her claustrophobia, but I can't guarantee that she will remember the childhood memories she lost.”
Shen Xinglan nodded and asked, ”Anything else?”
”Of course.” Dr. Jian beamed a rare smile. ”You have already done a good job. Usually, people who are afraid of the dark and narrow environment have no sense of security. So is Mrs. Shen.”
”In fact, her current situation is much better than before. The important reason for that is you.”
Just like the most beautiful flower coming from industrious watering and tending, a woman who is loved and cared whole-heartedly by a man shall always prosper!
”Boss, Yao Lili took her brother to the company.”
At hearing these words, A Miao almost squirted out while drinking the fish soup.
”Wasn't she gonna take him to the hospital? Why the company?”
Shen Xinglan shot a glare at Shen I and lightly stroked her back. ”Slow down, and why do you care about her so much?”
”I' m waiting to see what Yao Lili wants,” A Miao pushed his hand away and said, ”maybe she intends to use her brother?”
Shen interrupted the conversation with discretion. ”I heard that the Xias was very busy these days. Oh! The second son of the Xia family sent us an invitation.”
”He's back?” A Miao asked in surprise, ”did Xia Mei and Xia Fan also return?”
”They were all back.” Shen I looked at Shen Xinglan.
