After Shanshan left, Jiang Hua thought about it and decided to call A Miao.
”She didn't do anything, did she?” A Miao inquired him in an anxious tone.
”No, I helped her identify it, and she asked me a few related questions. After these, she just left.” Jiang Hua reminded, ”If there is something wrong with her, you'd better be careful.”
After hanging up, A Miao had another important thing to deal with. Last time, Shen Xinglan sent her a diamond bracelet as her birthday gift, but now, it was gone.
”It's so strange... Was it really lost outside?” A Miao mumbled and scratched her head, ”No! No!”
So she started to look for this bracelet again and turned her house over. When Shen Xinglan came back at night, she saw a little woman with a frustrated expression on the sofa.
”A Miao?” He sat down and held her in his arms, touching her head softly.
”What can I do?” A Miao sadly said, ”I didn't find my bracelet.”
Shen Xinglan raised his eyebrows. He knew that A Miao was very fond of this bracelet and he knew that A Miao wouldn't place it casually. She liked it very much, especially it was the birthday gift he gave her. And she wouldn't take it off except for taking a bath.
”If it was really lost, can we call the police?” A Miao seriously asked. This bracelet was worth tens of millions of yuan. But what was the most important—it was a gift sent by Shen Xinglan.
”My sweetie, it's no use.” Shen Xinglan tenderly pinched her nose and added, ”It must be in our house. Maybe it will appear in front of your eyes in a couple of days.”
A Miao curled her lip and said, ”Impossible! I have looked for it everywhere in my house.”
After two days, A Miao still found this bracelet. On seeing that she was so frustrated, Shen Xinglan intended to order a same one for her.
However, at this time, Lil Xi excitedly ran over with her smartphone.
”Shen, look at this! Do you know which store can produce it?”
Shen Xinglan had a glance at it and looked bad, and then he said, ”Where did you get it?”
”Shanshan sent me this photo!”
In the photo, there was a diamond bracelet, which was the same as A Miao's.
Shen Xinglan stood up and said, ”Go home.”
”Brother Xinglan!” At this time, Shanshan came back from school. She was happy to see Shen Xinglan and she said, ”Will you dine with us?”
”No. I have something else to deal with later.” Replied Shen Xinglan. And then he patted the couch and invited Shanshan, ”Shanshan, come and sit here.”
Shanshan happily sat beside him. Lil Xi handed over her smartphone and asked, ”Here, Shen wants to know where you take the photo of this bracelet.”
”In Teacher Jiang's house!” Shanshan blinked a little bit and replied. And then she added, ”When I went to the bathroom and I saw it in the closet. I think that it was so beautiful. So I took a photo of it secretly.”
When she finished these, she still added with her stuck-out tongue, ”I guess that it must be left behind by her girlfriend. Otherwise, why was it in the bathroom?”
”Enough!” Lil Xi impatiently asked Shen Xinglan, ”Have you ever seen it? Is it a customized bracelet of a famous brand?”
Shen Xinglan shook his head and stood up with an inscrutable expression, ”I've never seen it. So I don't know.”
”Where are you going? Brother Xinglan?” Shanshan hurried to cry out on seeing that they were going out. ”Dinner will be ready soon!”
Without looking back, Shen Xinglan said, ”You guys eat first.” And then he drove away.
When Jiang Hua saw Shen Xinglan, he felt that he had an illusion.
”Are you looking for me?” He asked uncertainly.
Shen Xinglan pushed him away and just walked into his house, ”Where is your bathroom?”
”... ”
Did this guy just want to use the bathroom?
”Come in.” As the cold voice called him in, Jiang Hua walked to the bathroom door, frowning, and he asked, ”Mr. Shen, I didn't have the interest with you to... What's this?”
Shen Xinglan held a diamond bracelet in his hand. Jiang Hua looked at him with surprise and asked, ”It's the one that belongs to A Miao?”
”You bet.” Shen Xinglan replied with his face grim. ”Why is this bracelet in your bathroom? It's a gift for A Miao. ”
After receiving his call, A Miao immediately rushed to the Jiang Hua's house. On stepping into the house, she saw that a man stood and another man sat. The distance between them was as wide as a room.
”What is going on?” She bit her lip to keep from laughing and asked.
Shen Xinglan held out his hand and said, ”Come here.”
”My bracelet!” A Miao watched the thing which Shen Xinglan put on her wrist in amazement and asked him, ”Where did you find it?”
Shen Xinglan gave Jiang Hua a cold look, and then A Miao surprisedly looked at Jiang Hua and asked, ”Was it in your house?”
”In the closet of my bathroom.” Jiang Hua shrugged his shoulder and replied.
A Miao immediately turned back and looked at Shen Xinglan, and Shen Xinglan softly pressed her hand and complained, ”You don't trust me again. You deserve a lesson.”
”Ha-ha...” She was relieved to hear that and happily smiled, ”I don't!”
Shen Xinglan held her tightly and kissed her, ”Now you've known why you hadn't found it. Because it has been in others' house!”
”Can you take care of others?” Jiang Hua rubbed his eyebrow and complained, ”I am still here!”
A Miao shyly touched her face and pushed Shen Xinglan away and asked, ”What is going on?”
Shen Xinglan explained the matter in a few words, and A Miao thought he was telling a story of the movie.
”This...” A Miao didn't know what to say, so she glanced at Shen Xinglan. Having received her eye contact, Shen Xinglan reacted with a confirming eye-sight and said, ”Just say what you want!”
