”When did you come? I didn't even notice.” Tan Bin smiled and greeted.
Zhang Song said as he nodded his head lightly, ”I just came here a while ago and saw how serious all of you were, so I didn't disturb you.”
”It's up to you.” Tan Bin impolitely pounded on Zhang Song's chest. It was as if he was an old friend who had known Zhang Song for a long time. Without waiting for Zhang Song to do anything, Tan Bin seemed to have suddenly remembered something, and said: ”Seeing my brain, I almost forgot to introduce him. This is Dongfang Yi, a first year student majoring in piano performance at the Music Conservatory, and a first year student majoring in science and technology at the Computer Academy, Zhang Song.” Tan Bin stood beside Zhang Song and Dongfang Yi and introduced them, but no matter how one looked at it, it felt like he was snatching Yue Lao's job, helping them connect the dots.
”Hello, Student Dongfang Yi.” Zhang Song slightly bent down and said with an extremely polite tone, his voice was very magnetic yet filled with an limitless vicissitudes of life.
”Hello.” Dongfang Yi responded to Zhang Song, and also did the same thing as Zhang Song.
Just at the instant when Dongfang Yi lifted his head to retract his body, that glance of Zhang Song's caused Zhang Song to not dare believe his own eyes. What did he see? In that moment, Zhang Song's eyes flashed a look of pity.
Although it was very short, it was still noticed by the meticulous Dongfang Yi. She more or less felt sad, it was just that she had hidden it well, Zhang Song and Tan Bin did not notice it.
After recovering from the shock, Zhang Song thought to himself, ”What a pity.” So it turned out that as Dongfang Yi bent his waist, the bangs on her forehead moved a little, but this movement revealed the small piece of red cinnabar mark she had been hiding behind.
She was originally flawless, just like the classical beauty Dongfang Yi. The red patch on the corner of her left eye made her look extremely ugly, from a fairy to something that could let people near and far away.
Although there was no disgust on Zhang Song's face, he still felt a little pity for Dongfang Yi. Perhaps this was a joke made by the heavens, to give you a flawless and beautiful face, yet to leave a very inharmonious picture on your perfect face.
Thinking about it, perhaps they were all of the same life. Zhang Song couldn't help but sympathize with Dongfang Yi, as if they were both abandoned babies by God. In order to not belittle Dongfang Yi's self-esteem and to not discriminate against her weak sense of inferiority, Zhang Song stretched out his hand towards Dongfang Yi as if nothing had happened.
At first, Dongfang Yi was clearly stunned by Zhang Song's actions, but after a moment of reaction, he bravely extended his right hand and held it together with Zhang Song's right hand.
Dongfang Yi's small hands were warm and smooth, causing Zhang Song to have an illusion. It was as if he wasn't holding Dongfang Yi's hand, but the Mu Xinyi's hand that he was extremely familiar with. This feeling was exactly the same as holding Mu Xinyi's hand.
Opposite, Dongfang Yi had the same feeling. His hands were cool and cold, as if he had just taken them out of an icehouse. His hands were like his face, cold and cold as if he had never smiled. The calluses on his hands were thick and thin, like the traces of sadness on the wrinkles on his forehead. The current Dongfang Yi was extremely curious about Zhang Song. What kind of person was he exactly? What had he experienced? That was the reason why he was the current him.
Their eyes met, and although it was only for a brief moment, a trace of ambiguous awkwardness floated between the two of them. Zhang Song took the initiative to break the subtle atmosphere, and said indifferently: ”Your zither music is as pleasant to listen to as your person is.”
”Thank you for your praise. It seems that you are a very good listener.” Dongfang Yi replied.
”Alright, stop praising me. The praises have passed and it's getting late. If you don't go eat now, the cafeteria will close down.” Tan Bin patted his stomach in protest.
Hearing Tan Bin's complaints, Dongfang Yi slightly apologized. Don't ask Tan Bin to draw a sketch for her, it wasn't enough for him to starve till now either.
The meticulous Zhang Song naturally saw through the clues, and softly said: ”Even if you go over now, I think there should only be some leftover cold soup, I knew that you had not eaten yet, my purpose in coming here is to bring you over to eat.”
”I was just teasing you guys, but I'm not hungry yet.” Tan Bin awkwardly explained.
”I know, but I'm not joking. Hurry up and pack up. If you're late, you won't have anything to eat.” Zhang Song joked.
”Right away.” After Tan Bin said this, he rushed over to the piano and started to clean up his painting tools.
Zhang Song and Dongfang Yi however, sunk into a short period of silence. Zhang Song did not look at Dongfang Yi.
A minute passed in the blink of an eye. Tan Bin brought his tools to Zhang Song and's side and said: ”I've packed everything, let's go.”
Zhang Song nodded and was the first one to walk towards the entrance of the auditorium. Tan Bin followed closely behind, but Dongfang Yi stood there quietly like a statue, not moving an inch.
Although his back was facing Tan Bin and Dongfang Yi, but Zhang Song's ears were extremely sensitive. He suddenly stopped in his tracks, and turned around to look at Tan Bin and Dongfang Yi.
Tan Bin did not react in the beginning, and almost bumped into Zhang Song and Yue Yang, but his reaction speed was still rather fast, when the two were about to collide, he stopped his body from moving forward. After harmonizing the balance of his body, Zhang Song turned around to look at the motionless Dongfang Yi.
