”I'm here to look for my family.” Lu Qiyuan sneered, ”It's none of your business.”

”I know you. You were here before to harass them.” The neighbor accused Lu Qiyuan.

”How's that any of your business!” Lu Qiyuan barked, annoyed.

”You sure are shameless! How can you bully a single mother and her child.” The neighbor couldn't watch any longer.

”What single mother and her child! I'm her father!” Lu Qiyuan roared angrily. Did that person just curse that he was dead?

”Oh so you are her father, then that's even more shameless of you! Is there any father out there who would behave like you? You keep harming your own daughter, and yet you still have the cheek to say that you are her father?” The neighbor looked at Lu Qiyuan as if he was a lunatic.

”You're crazy!” Lu Qiyuan scolded.

He was here to look for Lu Man, how was that any of the neighbor's business!

Lu Qiyuan turned around and continued to hit on the door.

”Can you stop hitting! Maybe they aren't at home!” the neighbor said.

However, Lu Qiyuan ignored him and shouted as he banged on the door, ”Xia Qingwei, Lu Man! I know that you two are in there! Open the door! Open it now! I saw that the lights on when I came here!”

”If you don't open the door, I will keep banging on the door here!”

Xia Qingwei was enraged. If it was just her and Lu Man, it was fine, she would leave Lu Qiyuan to create a huge ruckus on his own.

However, they still had neighbors. They couldn't disturb others just because of their own family issues.

”I'll go open the door,” Xia Qingwei said, clearly frustrated and annoyed.

”Let me instead.” Lu Man couldn't let Xia Qingwei take the risk no matter what.

She pulled Xia Qingwei behind her and went to open the door alone.

When she opens the door, Lu Qiyuan froze for a moment first. His hand was frozen in the position of banging the door.

After that, he finally came back to his senses. Swinging his hand, he aimed a big slap at Lu Man's face.

Having quick instincts, Lu Man raised her hand and blocked it and Lu Qiyuan's slap landed right on Lu Man's elbow instead.

Despite so, Lu Man still stumbled backward due to Lu Qiyuan's strong force.

Thankfully, he didn't her face, but her elbow was still aching pretty badly.

Xia Qingwei was right behind her and she hurriedly held onto Lu Man.
