52 The unknown! (1/2)

Now she was sinking into the unknown, she forget that she's not supposed to be in water.

And Why is that.?

She doesn't know, It remained a mystery to her. she closed her eyes. .even if she wants to moved, her body froze and the temperature of the water was dropping low.

”I felt like I been here before!”

She thought as she heard a voice in her head.

She was fighting the urge of not closing  her eyes but she was running out of air and the moment she closed it, she saw a flushed of random vision. .

Present. .

”Si'niáng, why are we here?”

An eight year old girl asked her companion in a very curious manner, she nudge her head up while studying Si'niáng's expression.

”Ye'er Gōngzhǔ. .today is your birthday and your grandmother wants to see you. ! You have to behave yourself, ok?”

”Ok.!” She smiled and shrugged her shoulder. ”But how should I behave?”

She asked curiously that makes Si'niáng smiled and pinched her face dotingly.

”You.!”

”Why you didn't bring Xin'er with us?” she complaint. ”What if I feel bored?”

”We wont take a long time. .besides your father is here also, we will be coming home with him!”

”Really?”

Si'niáng nodded. ”So be a good girl, ah?”

She nodded happily, knowing that her father will come home with them, makes her felt so happy.

Her father rarely comes home that's she felt overjoyed with the news.

Today is my birthday and father is coming home! she excitedly scream.

”What about Jing'gē is he coming home too?”

She asked with a spark in her eyes. Si'niang glance at her pitifully but manage to force a fake smile just to make her happy.

”That's for sure, princess!”

She said biting her lips, she knew that Ye'er had been so observant in every small details. She was hoping that she wont be seen through her lies.

She doesn't want to give false hope to her but today is her birthday she doesn't want the little princess to feel sad.

”Greetings Tàihòu.!” She said then give her grandmother a proper courtesy.

”Your granddaughter. .Yan Ye'er is here to wish you a good health and longevity!”

Her grandmother smiled at her in adoration. ”Ye'er its been a long time. .I haven't seen you, for awhile.!”

Her mouth watered when she saw the small cakes and sweets in the table.

”Tàihòu. .they said that I looked like my mother?”

she asked while munching up the cookies, empress dowager Yan Ming stunned with her question, when her daughter Chun'er passed away no one dares to speak about her in the palace.

Si'niáng asked Ye'er to apologized in secret.

”Indeed.!” Tàihòu agreed, she was looking at her as if she was reminiscing the time when her daughter hastily eats the sweets before anyone caught her.

”You just reminded me of her, Xiǎo Ye'er” she said smiling sweetly at her. ”And the one you're eating now was her favorite.!”

”Really.?”

Her grandmother nodded after she finished eating all the sweets she get up and asked permission to take a stroll, Si'niáng was left behind as Yan Ming Tàihòu was talking to her.
