Long Shengjie saw how cold she was and had no choice but to compromise. ”Fine, I'll agree then. But, don't blame me for being chased away by Diao Lang. There are so many wild beasts here.”

”That would still be better than being crushed by that devil Long Haochen.” Ye Jia mumbled in a low voice. After hearing him agree, she immediately felt relieved. She was excited and could not wait to run away with him.

”Who are you talking about?” Long Shengjie asked curiously. Ye Jia shook her head, ”No, you heard wrong. Young master, you should go to sleep first. I promise to finish the jigsaw puzzle in three hours. When you're done, I'll get you to fulfill your promise.”

”Alright.” Long Shengjie could do it in three hours' time. He nodded excitedly, and then jogged towards the bed. Ye Zichen crawled into the blanket with the big cotton shirt and went to rest obediently.

Ye Jia was afraid that he would freeze, so she pulled up his blanket and walked into the bathroom. She washed his body which still had the smell of Long Haoxuan's body. Afterwards, she put on her clothes and kneeled on the floor, beginning to follow the heart path she had seen in Long Haochen's room.

”Ah — Second Brother?!” Long Shengjie instantly jumped up from the bed, his hazy eyes searching left and right. ”Has second brother returned?” he asked. Where is it? ”

Ye Jia was amused by his cute look. She pointed to the big jigsaw puzzle on the ground, ”My mission is complete. It's your turn.”

”What should I do?” Long Shengjie didn't know if he was pretending or not, so he asked with a pair of innocent eyes. He slipped his hands on the edge of the bed and ran towards the jigsaw puzzle, exclaiming excitedly, ”Wow, Ye Jia, you're so bad!”

”If you dare to go back on your word, I'll …” She was scared and excited. If everything went well, she could leave this place and hope that the little brat in front of her could help her!
