”Reply to my husband's message, huh?”
”If you don't go back tonight, your husband will beat ass …”
The phone in Lu Qinan's pocket kept on ringing. She had originally been sitting quietly at the side, waiting for An An to start a meeting.
She smiled apologetically as she grabbed her phone and left.
”Gu Zhongshen, what are you doing? I'm at work!”
”What's wrong with working? Is working your husband important? Why didn't you reply to my message? ”
Gu Zhongshen snorted, his face becoming gloomy as he heard rustling sounds from the other side of the phone. A few seconds later, the sound of a woman breathing in could be heard.
Lu Qinan looked at the words in disbelief.
”You can even say what Old Man Gu has just said. You are not allowed to call me before getting off work!”
With that, she hung up the phone with a ”pa” sound.
Inside the CEO's office, there was someone sitting behind a desk. His body was covered with a cold aura, as if a storm was about to come.
Zhu Zinan pushed the door open and entered, seeing Gu Zhongshen looking through some information at the desk, ”Tsk tsk” twice, he said, ”What, you've made peace with An An, and now you're scaring all the employees out of your company …”
Only then did Gu Zhongshen open her eyes and look at him. Her face did not have any expression, and she only furrowed her brows.
”She went to work.”

Someone closed the folder with a ”Pa” sound. Big words were written on his face, ”I'm not happy right now.”
