Lu Qinan had a nightmare.

In her dreams, she was trapped in an unknown place and could only watch as the little fellow was captured. She wanted to save him, but no matter what, she couldn't beat him.

She didn't know who would come and help her now that she was out of options.

After a moment, a familiar face appeared in his mind.

It's the Fourth Uncle!

She looked over with shining eyes and was about to speak when she heard the man's familiar voice.

”An An.”

Lu Qinan panicked and opened his eyes, but to his surprise, the Fourth Uncle really did appear. He did not have time to think, his little hands grabbed ahold of his arm tightly, ”Fourth Uncle, Bao Bao, he …”

”He's fine, take good care of him.”

The man tightly hugged him and the familiar embrace and aura finally allowed her heart to calm down. The faint fragrance entered her nose and even calmed Lu Qinan down. Is there anything else that feels uncomfortable? ”

Gu Zhongshen squinted his eyes and sized her up, his fingers caressing her bandaged forehead, he caressed it gently and did not dare use any strength, but in that instant, Lu Qinan saw it, and his heart ached.

”Did it hurt?” Or hungry? ”

When he saw her frown, the man lowered his voice and asked, afraid that he would startle her.

Lu Qinan did not immediately reply, he was just staring at the man in front of him, and realised for the first time that he was actually nervous, and that strike just now had held her tightly.

She blinked, her voice dry.

”Fourth Uncle, you look really pathetic.”

The white shirt on his body was dirty. It was unknown what he had touched, but his normally neat hair was a little messy now. It seemed that there was some dust on it, and he looked to be exhausted.

Gu Zhongshen shot her a glance and really wanted to knock her down, but he was not willing to let go of her hanging in the air. He released his embrace and spoke in a low voice.

”Why am I in such a sorry state? Suddenly I got a call and told you what was going on. I drove all the way to 120, and when I got to the hospital, I found you in the emergency room, and no one told me what was going on. ”It's not like that kid is useless and only knows how to cry …”

Lu Qinan raised her finger, her delicate fingertip resting on the messy spot where the man's temples were.

He moved closer and took a bite on that disobedient little mouth of hers. His expression was still dark and gloomy as he held her hand. The scorching air fell on her cochlea and circled it back and forth.

However, she was still sick. After being kicked by an elephant, her internal organs had suffered an impact. She would have to recuperate for a while.

He put his head against her forehead, his voice hoarse.

Lu Qinan frowned suspiciously, when suddenly he felt a scorching feeling that something was wrong and immediately shrank back, ”Fourth Uncle, this is a hospital.”

Halfway through his words, the door to the ward slowly opened.

Lu Qinan gazed over the man's shoulder and landed at the door. A small figure stood there, her small face not smiling at all.

”What are you doing here?”

Gu Zhongshen's face did not look too good. When he stood up, the shadow of his tall and straight body could almost cover the entire little fellow.

”What else can we do in the ward?”

He still dares to talk back.

The old man, who was already filled with rage, couldn't hold it in any longer. He slapped the table with his palm and glared at the unrepentant little fellow. Take my wife away and come back less than two hours later. Give me an explanation yourself. ”

He was very fierce.

Lu Qinan waved his hands, signalling the old man, who was ready to go berserk, to quickly leave. The old man clenched his fists and turned around with a gloomy face.

This infuriated him. To think that he was being accused of helping her stand up for him, what a heartless little thing!
