Chapter 379 Have You Had Enough? (1/2)

”Ah, sh*t, don't be silly. As long as the green hills last, one need not worry about firewood. We're just trying to preserve our greatest strength.”

”Shut up.” Gao Peng hit it on the head.

The Desolate Frost Lion staggered back two steps and plopped down to the ground, shaking its head dizzily.

”Minister Xu, take this baby lion and leave first,” Gao Peng said to Xu Heti beside him.

”And you?”

”Me? I'll stay and cover for you.” Gao Peng chuckled.

”No, we just signed a Blood Contract, and you've already started digging your grave. Didn't you have a King-tier Familiar? Is it with you?” The lion was so anxious that it felt like ants were in its pants.

It was quite obvious that it had miscalculated the characteristics of those that weren't from the Black Fog World. It was Gao Peng's first time as a human being from a different world, not to mention that he also carried the smell of a King-tier Familiar with him. A King-tier familiar could easily deal with the group of tiny monsters outside.

The most important thing to the lion was leaving this world with the man in front of it and slowly recovering its strength in another world. From its view, Gao Peng could have a King-tier familiar at the age of 20 or so, although his talent would still only be considered average.

It was for these reasons that it was willing to sign a Blood Contract with Gao Peng. Otherwise, it wouldn't have agreed to trade its life to another.

The monster trainer chose the familiar, and in turn, the familiar chose the master.

Goodness me, I thought this kid was only joking about running away. Who knew that he actually wanted to stay.

The Desolate Frost Lion was speechless as it watched Gao Peng roll up his sleeves and rush forward goofily.

If the monster trainer had the physical strength of a familiar, how much effect could a King-tier familiar have... Gulp.

Right before its eyes, Gao Peng swept the ankle of a Labyrinth Watcher in a swift motion, making it stagger and lose its balance.

It was slightly horrifying. The lion was afraid to admit that Gao Peng's power was no doubt on par with the Lord-tier monsters who were skillful in hand-to-hand combat.

But, of course, one percent of its power could have already reached their level.

Just by assuming, one could see that this man's King-tier familiar must have been the kind with terrible strength.

In the maze, one slap across their faces would be enough to squash these redheads into pancakes.

Oh, what a pity. Why had he developed the bad habit of taking no familiars with him?

Contemplating, the Desolate Frost Lion rocked forward and backward.

Goldie had great resistance to element damage, but its means to resist physical damage were relatively poor, so it could only rely on its muscles to defend itself.

”Thunder!” Da Zi was like a lightning bolt hovering over the heads of the Labyrinth Watchers, vibrating its wings at high speed. Its specially structured high-speed vibrating wings emitted a unique frequency. The harsh noise produced made the following Labyrinth Watchers restless as their hearts hammered harder against their chests.

Dumby took this opportunity to cast the Heart of the Bloodseeker. One of the Labyrinth Watchers suddenly jerked uncontrollably and grabbed its chest tightly. It was as if its heart was cramping, like two strands of twisted rope were pulling away from each other; his movements became slow and stiff. Any slight movement would just add to the immense amount of pain it was in.

Seeing that the group of Labyrinth Watchers' movements had slowed down, Goldie saw an opening and took a small breath. As it stood up, cuts and bruises could be seen all over its body.

The pain shot through its whole body; there wasn't any part that was free of injury. It shook and winced from a slight movement as if its body had been replaced with ice and electricity was being wired straight into its spine. It was rather unappealing to watch.

Goldie stumbled back two steps. Now, Goldie's height had increased to a full 30 feet, which also proved how many attacks Goldie had just endured.

”Just come at me. Didn't your mommy give you enough to eat? Cause you're all soft like little girls!” Goldie roared loudly, clutching its wounds.

The Labyrinth Watchers standing in front of it didn't seem to have even tiny scratches, because Goldie's attacks were mostly punches to the flesh; even if there were injuries, they would mostly be internal ones.

On the left, a bloody Labyrinth Watcher sprinted forward as it clenched its right fist, covering its whole arm with a thick black mist, like a mass of splashing ink.

It swung a punch!
