53 Taking a Shower (1/2)
” See you again tomorrow! Or at dinner…”
Waving goodbye to Yang Meng outside the dining hall, Sofie slowly walked back towards the house she called home here at the scorching sun sect.
”Yeah! See you at dinner time!”
Yang Meng waved goodbye as well, before he quickly disappeared into the distance.
…
”Hm… What should I do when I get back? Fluff with plushies? Cultivate? Play with my plushies? Maybe finally try to cast the qi spell, or I could fluff my plushies while I play with them!?”
Walking on the path leading back to her home, Sofie wondered what she was going to do in the time between now and dinner.
Her plushies was in a clear lead in the importance of what to do, but she also felt like she needed to check on her cultivation as she felt something had changed after the trail back at the moonlight mountain.
Now it was just how important that was… Her plushies also needed attention from her…
Stuck in dilemma about what to do, Sofie arrived in front of the entrance to the house she lived in.
”Ah, Sofie? You are back quite late, did anything happen?”
Before Sofie even manged to open the door, a figure a little bigger than Sofie opened the door for her.
”Xiao Yao!?”
Shocked at the person who suddenly appeared in front of her, Sofie forgot to answer the question and jumped slightly, almost falling onto the ground in the process.
S-suddenly appearing in front of people… Are you trying to shock them to death!?
Still not completely calmed down from the earlier shock, Sofie looked over at Xiao Yao, who was now laughing from head to toe upon seeing Sofie's reaction.
”Haha, what happened to you all of a sudden Sofie? Why the startled look?”
With a smile on her lips, Xiao Yao was having a great time laughing at the panicked Sofie standing in front of her.
”W-w-what do you mean! Stop laughing at me! I-I was not scared or anything, just surprised!”
Trying her best to calm down, Sofie quickly started protesting in her own defence.
”Who said anything about scared? Haha!”
Xiao Yao just continued to laugh at the now embarrassed Sofie.
”Xiao Yao, y-you… bully!”
Searching for bad words to use, Sofie's limited vocabulary sadly did not have any. Only ending up making her look more and more like she was being bullied.
This on the other hand did not help one bit, as Xiao Yao saw the tearing Sofie calling her a bully, couldn't help but laugh again. Even though the cuteness of the current Sofie was off the charts, Xiao Yao found the look on Sofie's face extremely funny.
This could mostly be attributed to the fact that Sofie still had some scattered pieces of food at the corner of her mouth. Making her tearing eyes and pouting face look quite funny to onlookers. Maybe if Sofie remembered to clean her face before having confronted Xiao Yao, it might have worked in gaining her pity… Sadly it did the opposite and instead made her laugh even harder.
Not being able to endure the laughing from Xiao Yao anymore, Sofie swiftly made her way into the house and directly entered her room, followed by her quickly closing the door.
Only after Xiao Yao's laughter died down, did Sofie venture out of her room again.
