41 Trying to Intimidate Yue Wan (2/2)
”Wait!” Sofie suddenly jumped down from Yue Wan's arm, causing Yue Wan to look towards her longingly. Clearly not excited about Sofie leaving her hands.
”Y-you said we may end up stuck here!?” Sofie almost screamed in panic, while realizing what Yang Meng had said earlier.
”That took you a long time to figure out… Maybe your brain slows down, if you don't eat…?” Yang Meng said in a suspicious voice. Questioning how slow Sofie's reaction to what he said was.
”Wha-”
”True… Sofie might be the type who can't do anything without having eaten…” Yue Wan said interrupting Sofie, who was about to protest about what Yang Meng said.
”M-my brain is not slow! I-I was just thinking about something else…!” Sofie said in an unconvincing manner. Earning a doubtful look from both Yue Wan and Yang Meng, causing her cheeks to blush in shame.
”Yes! Fatty! Don't bully Sofie just because she is slower to react when she is hungry!” Yue Wan said, trying to switch sides and support Sofie. Sadly, failing miserably in the process.
”S-stupid Yue Wan!” Sofie angrily as she looked at Yue Wan, who insulted the speed of her brain two times in a row… And started softly hitting her chest. Wanting some sort of revenge, but at the same time not wanting to hurt her or anything.
I-I'm not slow or anything…! R-right…? Argh! Stupid Yue Wan, calling me slow because I have not eaten anything for a while! I-I'm not slow…
Sofie thought angrily to herself as she started cursing Yue Wan inside her mind… Sadly, Sofie did not know many 'curse' words. Calling Yue Wan stupid was the best Sofie could come up with.
”C-cute~” Yue Wan said in adoration, while staring blissfully at Sofie throwing a tantrum lightly hitting her chest… Sofie's cursing and hitting seemed to have had the opposite effect on Yue Wan, instead of intimidating her like intended…
”I have recovered enough already. Let's move.” Yang Meng said, hurrying the two of them to stop their quarrelling and get moving.
Sofie quieted down and looked at Yue Wan full of hostility, while the one in question just looked at Sofie with a wide smile. Clearly having enjoyed observing Sofie throwing a tantrum, even Sofie hitting her chest softly. Hesitating from time to time, was an enjoyable experience for Yue Wan.
”Yeah~ Let's go~ I will carry Sofie~!” Yue Wan said blissfully. Feeling like being stuck at the moonlight mountain forever didn't really sound like a bad idea anymore.
”NO! I Don't wa- ”Before she manged to finished, Yue Wan appeared before her and picked her up in a princess carry.
Surprised, Sofie did not have time to say anything before she discovered that they were already running up the mountain road at high speed.
Not being able to do anything about her current circumstances and remembering what Yang Meng said earlier about being stuck at the moonlight mountain. Sofie decided to keep quiet and only sent a deadly glare towards Yue Wan. Trying to intimidate her from doing anything.
Yue Wan on the other hand felt Sofie's gaze and instead of being intimidated by her, she instead smiled brightly in return. Causing Sofie to frown and look away.
W-why is she not intimidated!? Big sister always said that whenever she looked at people like that, it would be intimidating them from doing anything!? W-why does it not work?
Sofie thought confusedly to herself. Not taking her appearance into account… No matter what kind of 'evil and threatening' look she tried to make, it would just end up making her look like she was pouting or throwing a tantrum… It would be hard work for her to intimidate anyone with her size… Maybe when she grew up…?
