153 Recommending A Job (1/2)

After meeting Bai Yu An, a thought in Jing Yun Zhao's mind began to stir. Thus, she straightforwardly accepted his invite, and the two went to a small restaurant nearby and sat down.

In her mind, Jing Yun Zhao was calculating the pros and cons of this meeting, and how she should bring up the topic.

Bai Yu An was a talented person. Even though he was depressed for a period of time in her past life, he still started up his own business. The beginning was challenging, but there were results. Unfortunately, she had died too early and so didn't know the results of his growth.

Someone like him was just what she currently needed. She had the capital and ideas, but she lacked someone she could trust.

”Little Jing, why are you looking at me so attentively?” Bai Yu An asked as he touched his moustache and unkempt face. He was being stared at so hard to the point that his hair began to stand.

”Uncle Bai, now that you've come back, you're not going to leave anymore, right? You want to open a small restaurant like this in the county?” Jing Yun Zhao finally spoke up.

Bai Yu An jumped in fright after hearing what she had said and questioned, ”How'd you know?”

He hadn't told anyone about this!

The situation at home had left him feeling haggard. His original intention in coming back was to relax, but the two oldies were suffering from the loss of their grandsons. Every day they were muddle-headed. If it weren't for the fact that they were afraid that something to their son too, they probably wouldn't be able to hold on anymore.

Even though he was miserable yet aggrieved, he still had to pass his days. He might not have to think for himself, but he still had to live on for his parents' sake. Therefore, he decided to settle down in the county, open up a small eatery to maintain his livelihood and avoid running out of money.

Jing Yun Zhao smiled mysteriously. ”You don't have to care about how I found out for now, but I have a few words of advice. Starting up an eatery may not be a good thing. Although Grandpa Bai used to be in this line of work, it's a matter of the past. They are now old and can't help you with much. Also, back at the capital, you used to rely on your brain to do your work. Being a chef is very physically taxing, you might not be able to cope. Plus there are already so many eateries in the county, the taste of every one of them is also not bad. If the scale of your eatery is too small, people would look down on you, and if it's too big, you wouldn't be able to afford it in the long run. You still make loses either way.”

The main problem was that unlike Du Lin who had all sorts of secret recipes, the taste of his food was only sub-par.

She could taste it when she went to his eatery in the past. While still acceptable, the taste was not constant, and his serving speed was very slow.
