Gan Jinchen had never thought that he would one day tell Jing Yunzhao to take notice of her reputation and then become the main character of the rumors the very next day.

Even though he didn't like being too close (not physically but socially) with girls, he was at an age where he was self-conscious and insecure. He cared about the opinions of the opposite sex to some extent. But now, the girls in the class looked at him as if he was a plague.

”Gan Jinchen, I didn't think you were this kind of person! I even liked you before!” In between classes, a girl with red eyes came to Gan Jinchen and left after saying that, leaving Gan Jinchen dumbstruck.

Most young girls were naive, innocent. There weren't a lot of girls that would scheme like Qiao Hongye. Because of Gan Jinchen, a lot of girls now felt their innocent, beautiful one-sided romance was dirtied by a disgusting layer of disgusting ink.

Gan Jinchen cried with no tears. The gossip surrounding him increased, almost swallowing him.

If a guy like him can't even handle those chattering, a girl like Jing Yunzhao handling it would be out of the question.

After enduring it for one class session, Gan Jinchen couldn't keep his calm anymore and rushed straight towards Jing Yunzhao's classroom. While standing at the classroom entrance, he saw Jing Yunzhao alone with her head down, silently studying. It made him somewhat confused.

Before he came, he thought about it a lot, even thinking that Jing Yunzhao would be crying hard. Who knew that when he came, it was the exact opposite?!

Jing Yunzhao's seat was slightly towards the middle of the classroom. People around were pointing at her, saying nasty things about her. Especially after they noticed Gan Jinchen's arrival, some boys even blew a whistle. However, Jing Yunzhao was still writing on her paper, so serious and focused that it gave Gan Jinchen an indescribable feeling.

”Yunzhao, that guy came,” Xiao Haiqing nudged Jing Yunzhao.

Xiao Haiqing didn't believe in the rumors. Even though Gan Jinchen was good-looking and had a good family background, he was too soft, naive. How could Jing Yunzhao fall for him?

And just because of some rumors, he couldn't sit still. Couldn't he just save it for later? Appearing in front of their classroom entrance would obviously add more sparks to the rumors, how brainless.
