27 - Conscienceless (1/2)

Su Chu was wearing a big red coat with a pair of delicately made leather boots. Jing Yunzhao on the other hand, was wearing a normal sports jacket. In comparing the two, Jing Yunzhao's clothes were the cheaper ones.

”Biaojie, that color doesn't suit you. Your skin is white, so I think you'll definitely look good if you wear red or white!” Su Chu complimented.

Su Chu has a delicate appearance, the image of a cute neighbor's little sister. Jing Yunzhao could just imagine how popular Su Chu was at school.

Su Chu was surprised at Jing Yunzhao. She had seen Jing Yunzhao many times before when she was the student representative during the school's ceremonies. She always spoke softly, and no matter what others said about her, she never responded.

Jing Yunzhao was actually very beautiful, but in the past, she never appeared to have much of a temperament. She always had a gloomy feel. But now, it feels like she's a completely different person. Even when she's casually wearing a sports jacket, she looks classy.

”You're not going to eat breakfast?” Jing Yunzhao had no issues with her clothes and changed the subject.

”There's only instant ramen…biaoge left early today. Otherwise, I would have had some porridge to drink…” Su Chu said with a bitter expression.

Jing Yunzhao's mouth twitched and sighed.

It was still early. Jing Yunzhao told Su Chu to wait and began to prepare porridge for the both of them.

Su Chu has a child-like personality. When she saw Jing Yunzhao making breakfast, she came to look curiously and then said, ”Biaojie, did you use to cook everyday at home? Your porridge tastes a lot better than biaoge's!”

Her biaoge Gan Linchen's meals were only a bit better than her own. They weren't even close to the fragrant ones Jing Yunzhao made.

”When you want to have it in the future, I'll make for you,” Jing Yunzhao smiled.

Unless it was necessary, Jing Yunzhao usually never spoke. She became a bit better at social talk after being reborn.
