10 - Who Did It? (1/2)

When Qiao Weimin hit Jing Yunzhao, he used a lot of strength. If she hadn't been abused since she was little, she wouldn't have been able to endure it. The reason why she did nothing to her face for the past two days was to let the teacher see it clearly.

And inside the space, the pain lessened, but her injury stayed the same. It remained clearly visible.

”Teacher, I was stopped by a bunch of hooligans on Friday. They refused to let me go and tried to act familiar with me. Then they took me to an alleyway. ”Were they the ones who hit you?” Teacher Jin frowned and said.

Her injury didn't seem light. It's already been two-three days, but it's still lightly but visibly bruised. They must've hit her hard.

”No…those people were only trying to scare me. I fainted later…and this injury…” Jing Yunzhao showed an expression of sorrow but continued to say, ”My dad hit me…”

When teacher Jin heard that, she felt a chill down her spine.

Teacher Jin stood up and said, ”He hit you? Why? Jing Yunzhao, tell me everything. Did you do something that made him mad?”

”It was nothing. It was just because of a bowl of porridge. I was afraid of upsetting my stomach because it went cold. I didn't want it to affect the test today, so I went and got a fresh bowl instead. My dad got angry and slapped me, telling me to drink it all,” Jing Yunzhao said casually as if this matter was not even big enough for her to mention.
