Chapter 207 How to Please Them? (1/2)

Fu Zhengzheng lifts Fu Xing to another bed. When she is about to enter the bathroom to wash face, Zhen Mingzhi asks suddenly, “Honey, is this guy really nice to you?”

Fu Zhengzheng is surprised and then she turns around and nods, explaining for Han Siqi, “I took Xingxing out in a hurry this evening and didn’t tell Siqi. besides, my phone went dead. He couldn’t find us and must have been worried extremely, so he was emotional when he arrived just now. He is not always like this.”

Chen Yuying also looks serious, “Even so, he shouldn’t shout at you in front of others.”

Fu Zhengzheng walks over, hugs Chen Yuying and says smiling, “Mom, it’s not so serious as you imagine. Siqi was just on a momentary impulse.”

Hearing her daughter’s explanation, Chen Yuying pats her hand, opens the drawer and takes out a set of toiletries, while saying softly, “We are worried about you. You had a hard life in the past years because of him. If he doesn’t cherish you, we will never forgive him.”

Fu Zhengzheng takes over the toiletries and grins, “I know. But don’t worry. Siqi will not let you down.”

Then she enters the bathroom.

After brushing teeth, she heard vague conversations in the ward. She puts down the towel lightly and listens carefully against the door.

“Xingxing only said his grandpa and grandma don’t like our daughter, but today Han Siqi shouted at her. Maybe he is not so nice to her usually. It seems that our daughter has suffered a lot in Han family.” Chen Yuying says chokingly.

“They bully her just because our daughter is alone and has no one to depend on.” Zhen Mingzhi snorts, “Now we reunite with our daughter and will never allow them to bully her.”

“But she always defends Han Siqi.”

Zhen Mingzhi meditates for a while and says, “Then I’ll test him. If he just pretends to be nice to our daughter, I’ll drive him back to B City and he mustn’t come back for my daughter and grandson forever.”

Fu Zhengzheng becomes nervous when she hears it. She has never thought her parents’ first impression of Han Siqi would be so terrible.

She knows clearly that her father has a temper, and she doesn’t want to destroy the harmony established difficultly.

After washing the face, she opens the door loudly on purpose. Once the door is opened, the outside conversation stops immediately.

Chen Yuying tucks Fu Xing in and says softly to Fu Zhengzheng, “Honey, you are tired. Come to sleep quickly.”

Fu Zhengzheng steps to the bedside, looks at the biscuits near Fu Xing’s pillow and touches her belly, thinking about an excuse to go out to see Han Siqi.

Zhen Mingzhi has lied down, but looking at this, he asks, “Honey, hadn’t you eaten in the porridge shop before you came back?”

Fu Zhengzheng replies quickly, “I planned to bring food back to eat with you, but all was spilled carelessly at the door.”

Chen Yuying takes out a bag of biscuits and hands it to her immediately.

“Come on, honey, don’t starve yourself. Have some biscuits.”

Fu Zhengzheng declines with an excuse, “Mom, my stomach is not well and I can’t digest hard food.”

Zhen Mingzhi feels distressed and points to Chen Yuying, saying “Go to the porridge shop with our daughter.”

Fu Zhengzheng stops them immediately, “I can go myself. Mom, look after Xingxing for me, because he kicks off the quilt at night.”

Hearing that Fu Xing kicks off the quilt, Zhen Mingzhi doesn’t insist anymore and just urges, “Go ahead and have something hot to warm your stomach.”

Fu Zhengzheng nods. When she takes her phone and is ready to go out, she turns around and says to her mother, “Mom. I’m afraid there will be many people in the porridge shop and I’ll come back late. You might as well sleep with Xingxing on that bed. I’ll ask a quilt from the nurse and sleep on the sofa.”

Chen Yuying nods and urges her, “OK. Go ahead. Your stomach is not well originally. Mind you don’t have stomach disease.”

Watching her parents’ concerned eyes, Fu Zhengzheng’s nose twitches. She says sorry in heart and then dashes out for fear that they will find she is lying.

Once entering the lift, she calls Han Siqi.

“Siqi, where are you?”

“In the hotel.”

“I mean which hotel.”

“Shangkai Hotel across the hospital.”

“Room number?”

“303.”

Fu Zhengzheng hangs up the phone and rushes to Shangkai Chain Hotel across the hospital.

Honestly speaking, she knows that it’s not right that she left Han family without leaving any message, but she also feels angry that Han Siqi beat Sun Dongze on his arrival instead of asking about her father’s situation. However, when she saw Han Siqi was treated coldly by her parents and left pitifully, she feels sympathetic.

Maybe all women are like this. Women hope their husbands can love their families as deeply as their husbands love them, and hope their parents can love their husbands as deeply as their parents love them too. Once the scale tilts, women will try their best to maintain the balance, even if they are injured, because on both sides of the scale are their dearest ones.

When she comes to Room 303, she finds the door is not locked. She pushes the door and enters. But when she just enters, the door bangs shut and a pair of hands embrace her behind.

Fu Zhengzheng is frightened and scolds him quietly, “What do you want to do? Do you want to scare me to death?”

Han Siqi turns her body around, stares at her and interrogates in an overbearing tone, “Dare you go out with a strange man with my son while not telling me?”

Fu Zhengzheng curls her lips, “Brother Dongze is not a strange man, OK?”

Han Siqi frowns, “How sweetly you call him!”

Fu Zhengzheng pulls a wry face and pushes him away, “I have called for many years and can’t change quickly. Do you still have the mood to be jealous? You made such trouble once you arrived. I’ll see how you’ll change your terrible impression on my parents!”
