Chapter 363 Dealing with People from Distinguished Families (1/2)

A second before that, Ning Tao was still standing there and smiling. One second later, he was engulfed by the mob. Clubs were waving in the air, blunt weapons smashing on flesh, resounding relentlessly like beaten drums.

“Bash him! Bash him! Bash him dead!” Li Biao growled excitedly, the expression in his eyes like a wild beast’s.

He had always wanted to make himself out as a serious businessman. He even demanded his men to be polite and take pride in their appearances. Yet he had forgotten one thing—his personality. He was a man rotten to the core. No matter how well he dressed himself in a Western suit, no matter how politely he spoke, he could not change this fact.

Suddenly, there was a muffled thud. A man holding a knife flew out from the crowd and landed noisily on the floor. Bam! Blood streamed out from his mouth and nostrils. He had lost unconsciousness.

Soon after that, one after another of the mobsters were hurled out from the “battlefield.” The scene resembled a pillow fight—only that men, not pillows, were being thrown out.

Ning Tao was surrounded and bashed one moment ago. Yet in the twinkling of an eye, those bashing him were now either unconscious on the floor, or retreating and scrambling backwards, too afraid to approach.

The Unbreakable Fan was dancing in the air, as nimble as a bird. Upon unfurling, it could ward off short knives and daggers, and could not be broken. When furled, it could overcome a thousand men in battle. Everywhere it hit, there would be blood and loose teeth. There were at least a hundred teeth broken by now on the floor! And it had also broken a few dozen ribs!

The rapidity of the Cat Claw Punch, the resilience of the Unbreakable Fan—how could these scums overcome him?

“Ah…” Spotty growled as if insane. His hand waved and he hurled a dagger at Ning Tao.

Whoosh!

The Unbreakable Fan was unfurled.

The hurtling dagger struck the fan and dropped to the floor. There was not even the sign of a hole in this fan, which seemed made out of paper.

Spotty turned and fled.

Ning Tao launched himself on his tiptoes and soared like a bullet head. He rammed against Spotty’s back.

Spotty shrieked hideously and collapsed to the floor, his body sliding towards Li Biao.

Ning Tao walked towards Spotty.

“Brother Biao… save me…” Spotty was grabbing Li Biao’s trouser leg. He wanted to crawl up, but his spine had been broken by Ning Tao and he could not.

Li Biao seemed not to have heard him. He stared at Ning Tao with stupefied eyes. What he was feeling now was even more complicated than a trigonometric function. He thought that victory was in his hands, and yet in an instant, the tide had changed and they were being annihilated

Ji Xiaofeng and Lang Wei were not feeling much better than Li Biao. One minute ago, they had wanted to talk Li Biao into merely breaking Ning Tao’s legs. They would dissuade him from killing Ning Tao. Yet within half a minute, Li Biao’s men were all lying on the floor! There were broken teeth everywhere, as well as blood!

Song Chengpeng was the calmest among them, yet even he could not hide the shock and terror in his eyes.

In this brief instant, Ning Tao had already walked up to Spotty.

“Save me… Brother Biao…” Spotty was tugging Li Biao’s trouser leg.

Li Biao seemed roused from a dream. He retreated backwards in panic.

Ning Tao did not go after Li Biao. He said, “Brother Spotty, please raise your head and tilt it a little to one side. You will suffer less if you do so.”

He was a polite member of the underworld. He would even offer constructive suggestions as to when he would break his teeth. He wanted the other party to strike a nice pose, so that he would feel better when being bashed.

“No, no…” Spotty shook his head vigorously.

Ning Tao stepped a foot on Spotty’s ankle.

“Ah!” Spotty shrieked horrendously. He felt that his foot was being rammed by a pile driver. His bones were breaking!

Ning Tao said in a soft and polite voice, “Brother Spotty, didn’t you hear me? Please raise your head a little and tilt it to one side.”

“I beg you…. Ah!” Before he could utter his plea, Ning Tao’s foot had stepped on his ankle. His bones were now really broken.

Ning Tao then spoke softly and politely again, “Brother Spotty, could you please raise your head a little? You hear me?”

Spotty no longer dared to plead. He steeled himself and raised his head a little, turning his head somewhat towards Ning Tao. He dared not look at him, shutting his eyes as tears fell one by one.

Just in that instant when Spotty was striking a pose, Ning Tao struck his Unbreakable Fan brutally at him.

Pow!

Spotty’s head jerked to one side, his mouth spitting out a dozen teeth. His whole person slid away from the Unbreakable Fan, crashing against the legs of a square table before stopping.

Li Biao had fled behind the counter.

Ji Xiaofeng and Lang Wei quietly retreated to the door. They were vigorously signaling Song Chengpeng with their eyes, asking him to leave.

But Song Chengpeng did not move, since he knew he could not run. Ning Tao’s speed in that instant had even surpassed his revered master’s!

“Don’t be in such a hurry to go,” Ning Tao said.

Ji Xiaofeng and Lang Wei’s legs instantly shivered. They could not move, rooted to the floor.

But they were after all highly respected childes. Lang Wei asked, “What do you want? We didn’t provoke you.”

Ji Xiaofeng also said, “My uncle is a police superintendent. If you dare hurt us…”

Swoosh!

The Unbreakable Fan suddenly flew out and struck Ji Xiaofeng loudly on his mouth, dislodging a tooth. The tooth and blood instantly flew out of Ji Xiaofeng’s mouth. His entire person collapsed.

Ning Tao said blandly, “Mr. Ji, go on. Your uncle is a police superintendent. So what will you do if I hurt you?”

There was a deadly silence in the hall.

Ji Xiaofeng was almost determined to die. He did not dare refute Ning Tao. Ning Tao had knocked out not only his tooth, but also his dignity and self-confidence. He had always been arrogant and mention of his uncle would get him out of trouble all these years. But not now.

Ning Tao’s gaze shifted to Lang Wei. He still spoke nonchalantly, “Mr. Lang, please pick up my fan for me. Thank you.”
