Chapter 229 Who Could Understand My Agony? (1/2)

Actually, regardless of the Feminine-moon people civilization, Tang Zixian’s identity or any major conspiracy, none of them were more important than the issue of the clinic’s treatment fee. There was no upgrade that month and the clinic’s rent remained at 2000 points of good-evil treatment fee. Still, the ledger made of bamboo slips indicated that he was only left with 1321 points, so he still needed more than 600. Then, instead of going to the forest to watch over Tang Zixian, Tu Wenjin and the archaeology team at the cost of enduring mosquito bites and boredom, he would rather return home and earn some good-evil treatment fees. He believed that apart from the Feminine-moon’s city and the cloudy ore, he was also Tang Zixian’s target. Thus, she would sooner or later reach out to him. Then why should he be in a rush?

The Sky Clinic’s convenient door opened through the stone wall. Ning Tao and the God’s Will electric bicycle appeared inside Qing Zhui’s cave residence.

Just a second after he had regained his sight, Ning Tao was stunned. It felt as if someone had squeezed his heart. Blood rushed up to his head, almost erupting from his nose and mouth.

There at the “Little Mistress”, the two snake demons were fast asleep. Qing Zhui was sleeping on her side, facing outwards on the bed, while Bai Jing was hugging onto her waist. Both of them were wearing only bras and panties; the fabric on their bodies was devastingly scarce. Bai Jing’s were white, clinging intimately to her body, somewhat translucent. Her body of perfect proportions was pressed comfortably against the pristine white bedsheets. It was not exaggerated at all to describe the curvature of her bum and waist as a deadly temptation. Qing Zhui’s were green, which were completely opaque, but appeared to be slightly loose, such that it seemed to invite onlookers to inspect deeper and unravel her secrets. Similarly a body of ideal proportions, her dainty little abdomen and her pair of slender legs of unrivaled beauty were openly exposed. It was an even deadlier temptation.

Such an early morning. Could they not be doing anything productive, like memorizing some English phrases or an ancient poem? How could they be lying in bed squandering the beautiful day away?

The next instant after Ning Tao had entered the cave, both Bai Jing and Qing Zhui opened their eyes.

The next second, Qing Zhui immediately rolled over and jumped off the bed. “Brother Ning!”

Qing Zhui called out endearingly. Before she had even completed her sentence, the destined concubine jumped right into Ning Tao’s embrace, without a care that he was still sitting on his God’s Will electric bicycle. How much had she missed him over the past few days? Her reaction at the moment was her answer.

With a delicate and dainty beauty in his embrace, who he was in maximum physical contact with, Ning Tao could feel his entire body tense up. A certain part of him felt almost like it was suffering from acute inflammation; he was in agony.

Ning Tao coughed. “Cough… cough… Alright, alright. Speak properly, Sister Bai is still here. This isn’t appropriate.”

Bai Jing slowly rose from her bed. “Don’t need to regard me as an outsider. It’s nothing. I’m cool even if you do that thing in front of me. I’m not a shy little girl.”

Ning Tao: “…”

He was speechless.

Fortunately, Qing Zhui had finally let go of him. She was beaming with happiness and bliss. “Brother Ning, where have you been for the past few days? I’ve called you a few times, but the calls could not get through.”

Ning Tao got off the bike, and pushed it outside. “You two wear some clothes first. I’ll wait for you outside; then I will tell you about a very important thing.”

Bai Jing lightly jumped off the bed. A white shadow flashed and stood before the God’s Will electric bicycle. “What can’t be said at home, and needs to be told outside? I’m not even embarrassed, so why are you?”

What kind of relative was that?

Ning Tao tried to move the bike out of her way, but Bai Jing had widened her arms. “Mercy me”. With the scanty material clinging on her body, it was apparent how provocative such a motion was.

Qing Zhui took her green dress, wearing it while saying, “Sister, just wear it. Brother Ning is shy. It’s not nice of you to be like this.”

Bai Jing glared at Qing Zhui. “I’m helping you, you fool.”

While Qing Zhui and Bai Jing were getting dressed, Ning Tao briefly explained to them what had happened. He also took out the Blade of the Solar Eclipse which he had cultivated, showing it to Qing Zhui and Bai Jing.

Qing Zhui brandished the Blade of the Solar Eclipse excitedly. Nothing appeared in the air. It was just as if she were waving around a normal black scalpel with red patterns.

“Brother Ning, you said you had spent a whole night cultivating it, but it doesn’t seem to do anything special. It’s far worse than your electric bicycle,” Qing Zhui said. She then passed the Blade of the Solar Eclipse to Bai Jing.

Bai Jing activated her demon power as she waved it, and it still produced the same outcome. Disinterested, she returned the blade to Ning Tao. “It’s not a magic tool. To me, it looks like you’ve wasted a premium spiritual material.”

Judging from her tone, it seemed like she did not know what kind of spiritual material the cloudy ore was.

Ning Tao did not explain. He could not use the magic tools of normal practitioners and demons. Meanwhile, the tools he had cultivated, could not be used by normal practitioners and demons. It was all logical. He kept the Blade of the Solar Eclipse. “I’ll take you to see the city of the Feminine-moon people a few days later. You’ll definitely be surprised. It’s miraculous.”

“Brother Ning, I want to go and see the Feminine-moon people’s city now! Take me there,” Qing Zhui appeared to be really excited.

“I want to go too. Don’t you dare leave me behind. If not, I’ll make my sister divorce you,” Bai Jing said.

Ning Tao smiled wryly. “Sister Bai, could you speak properly?”

Bai Jing looked incredibly confident. “Alright, alright, I’ll disturb you no more. Anyway, you’ll have to take me there.”
