Chapter 95 A Doctor for a Battle (1/2)

The little white house was lighted and became the only bright spot on the dark hillside, so that the house could be seen from far away. There was a doghouse in the yard, and the dog barked uneasily. Its voice echoed in the silent woods and could be heard far away.

Ning Tao frowned behind the white building. Dogs had a keen sense of smell and hearing, and apparently this dog had sensed their arrival.

”Why's the dog barking? Is someone coming?” asked a man's voice.

”It could be that visitor. He has telephoned me and said he would come. I'll check it out,” Ma Jiaorong's voice said.

A door on the second floor opened and Ma Jiaorong appeared in the hallway. She held the cement fence and looked at the direction of the gate. Making sure that no one was there, she turned her eyes to the uneasy wolf dog, shouting, ”You damn dog! You bark all the time. What are you barking for? If you annoy me, I'll kill, stew and eat you!”

”Woof! Woof! Woof!” The Wolf dog still barked uneasily.

Ma Jiaorong swore again and went back into the room.

Behind the white building, Qing Zhui opened her mouth and let out low hisses.

It was the sound of a snake.

”Ah uh...” The dog's voice changed, and then it became quiet.

Dogs were intelligent and had an ability to anticipate danger which was beyond humans' imagination. The wolf dog made a whining sound, and then became quiet. Obviously it was frightened by Qing Zhui.

Qing Zhui said to Ning Tao, ”It's done. It doesn't dare to bark anymore. Shall we go in now?”

”Turn your phone off, and we're going to the roof,” Ning Tao replied. ”When that guy comes, we'll round up all of them at one fell swoop.”

Ten minutes later, a Porsche Cayenne came in from the corner at the foot of the hill and drove straight to the front gate of the small white building. Sitting in the driver's seat was the visitor who went to the Sunrise Kindergarten that afternoon. He poked his head out of the car, and then honked the horn twice in a hurry.

Ma Jiaorong reappeared on the second-floor balcony. She took one look at the front gate, and then went down to open the gate for the man.

During the whole process, the wolf dog lay in the doghouse without a single cry. Every now and then it looked up at the roof of the second floor, but Ma Jiaorong didn't notice its strange behavior.

When the Porsche Cayenne entered the yard, the man turned off the engine, got out of the car, and said directly, ”Is this time going to be okay?”

Ma Jiaorong replied, ”You can rest assured. This is my adopted child. It won't be a problem. You can play as you want.”

The man got excited. ”Is she beautiful?”

Ma Jiaorong smiled. ”Prettier than a porcelain doll.”

The man asked again, ”May you not give her medicine? I like her to be awake.”

”Then 5,000 yuan more,” said Ma Jiaorong.

”Money is not a problem. I'll give you another 5,000. Take me to see the little girl.” The man couldn't wait.

On the roof, Ning Tao patted Qing Zhui, who was squatting next to him, and said, ”Let's go down.”

Qing Zhui nodded, then followed Ning Tao into the stairwell on the roof and walked down the stairs. They had just reached the landing on the second floor when they heard a little girl cry.

”Mom, I want mom...”

”I am your mom,” said Ma Jiaorong.

”No, you're not... I'm Yaya, and my mom is Tian Damei... I want to go home...” The little girl said while crying.

Ma Jiaorong said, ”Yaya, you play a game with this gentleman and I'll take you home. Okay?”

”Okay, okay, what's the game?” asked Yaya.

”Hey, hey, hey...” A man's voice sounded.

At the top of the stairs, Ning Tao's was extremely sullen. He was a born go-between of good and evil, but the words and deeds of the two evil people in the room stimulated him, and were about to awaken his evil side.

”Go ahead,” Ning Tao said, his voice deep.

Qing Zhui, who couldn't wait, stepped out of the stairs and strode toward the room where the little girl's voice was heard.

Ning Tao also went out with the medicine chest.

In the room, Ma Jiaorong was taking off Yaya's pants.

The man's eyes were full of excitement and evil light, and he was breathing fast. Apparently, he couldn't wait anymore.

Bang!

The door was suddenly kicked open.

Ma Jiaorong, who was taking off the little girl's pants, and the man who was in the excited state were taken aback at once. The girl, in a long green dress and embroidered cloth shoes, seemed to be an aristocrat who came from the ancient world.

”You...” Ma Jiaorong had several hypotheses coming to her mind, but none of them could explain the arrival of this beauty in ancient costume.

Then the man came to his senses and asked with an evil smile, ”Ms. Ma, is this girl a gift you gave me? She's so pretty! Hey, come and play. I'll give you 5,000 if you make me comfortable.”

Just then Ning Tao came to the door, standing behind Qing Zhui.

The evil smile on the man's face froze.

Ma Jiaorong suddenly opened her mouth and shouted, ”Tiger! Something's wrong!”

Immediately out of the next room rushed a man, naked to the waist, his arms covered with tattoos, carrying a shining machete, looking murderous.
