Why did he have to drive me to the corner?” Bao Na said and cried again. After pausing for a moment, she continued to say, “Just now he said that he would ask Kang Lan to come to me.”

“Did you agree?”

She nodded and said in a helpless tone.

Xia Yu knew that she didn’t want to see Kang Lan, but she had to because Chen Wenxuan knew totally her weak point.

“Bao Na, I’m taking a rest today. Let’s hang out and forget those unhappy things for the time being. Let’s have a good day.” Xia Yu took her arm and said to her with a smile.

She grunted assent and then took her purse. They wandered for the whole morning and had a self-help barbecue for lunch. Xia Yu had planned to take her to climb the mountain in the afternoon, but Kang Lan called her and said that she had checked in at a hotel. She asked Bao Na where she was and then sent the hotel address to her to come over.
