Shen Yan took it over and looked at the headline. It said that Young Master Yan brought his beloved son to see a doctor with his girlfriend.

”How am I supposed to know?” Xia Yu wanted to cry and laugh as well. Yangyang was already seven or eight years old. How old was she back then? It was outrageous!

Liu Sijie heard them talking and then leaned over to have a look at it. He also laughed, ”You guys are hit by this trick as well, aren't you?”

”We don't need to mind those gossips.” Shen Yan returned the phone to Xia Yu.

After having breakfast, they went to the company together. When everyone saw Xia Yu, they couldn't help laughing, but they did not dare to be presumptuous as Shen Yan was close by.

Cai Yanyan and others did not pull Xia Yu to their side until Shen Yan got into his office. She laughed first before speaking. ”Where is your son?”

Xia Yu also laughed. ”I sent him to the orphanage.”

”Hey, do you know how to be a mother?” Cai Yanyan looked disdainful. She held the look for a while before bursting out laughing. Then she asked, ”What the hell is going on? How did this 'own goal' happen?”

”I went to relieve the people in a disaster with Li Feiran last time, and there was a little boy named Yangyang at that time. He couldn’t speak for some reason, but the doctor said that he would be able to communicate like normal people after the operation. I saw that he only had a grandparent to depend on. So, I contacted a hospital and arranged surgery for him. Things had gone well. But after I left, his grandmother had a car accident and the child was sent to an orphanage. Yesterday I went to the orphanage with Shen Yan and happened to meet the child again before taking him to the hospital for an examination. ”Those people probably saw them at that time. Xia Yu had to admire their rich imagination.

”So, that's what's happened. The Second Madame always wants a grandson. Now she's probably disappointed again.” Cai Yanyan knew that Xia Yu went to the orphanage yesterday.

She sat in the hall and made a few phone calls in order to arrange some colleagues to come over. The business hours were going to start soon here. After she made the arrangement, Zhang Peng called her and asked Xia Yu if Shen Yan was there or not.

Xia Yu asked with doubt, ”What's going on today? Why are you calling me to look for Shen Yan?”

In the past, he would first look for Shen Yan before asking for Xia Yu.

Zhang Peng sighed and said, ”I just called him, but he didn't pick up the phone. I thought that you two were together. I want to find some buddies to have lunch together. You just come over. Your brother, I , will cook myself, and we can have a drink together.”

”Did I hear it right?” Xia Yu asked again. This dear lord would probably burn the kitchen if he cooked himself.

”You didn't get it wrong. I will personally cook. You're lucky to have a gourmet meal today, Sister.” Zhang Peng said again.

”I have to go to the orphanage in the afternoon.” Xia Yu really had something to do.

”Can you just drink some apple cider vinegar? My mood is so down these days. And what about Young Master Yan? Why didn't he pick up the call again?” He said depressedly.

”He may be busy now. You can call him again later. If this is the case, I'll go over and try your craft!” Xia Yu really looked forward to it now.

”Okay. I will be waiting for you.” Zhang Peng hung up after he finished talking.

At noon, Xia Yu drove to Zhang Peng's house after finishing her work. She didn't see Shen Yan there, and only one of his friends was there.

”Young Master Yan is not coming. He said that he was very busy. Let's eat!” Zhang Peng was wearing an apron and took the dishes out of the kitchen. Then he said with a smile.

”Why are you so fussy as a woman? If you have something to say, just say it. Is there anything that you do not dare to say in front of me?” Xia Yu asked again.
