1 Episode 1- First Day Of Infection (2/2)

”Take that!”

The woman suddenly fell. John looked up and saw Mike standing and holding a large stick.

”You okay?” Mike said as he threw the stick and helped John up.

”Yeah fine.” he looked back at the woman. ”What the hell happened on that plane?” he looked worried at Mike.

Mike looked at the ground. ”I...I don't know. But it isn't human”

”Okay” John looked away from the body and put Mikes arm back around his neck. ”lets get to that truck.”

As they quickly walked to the truck both Mike and Johns eyes widen. A young long black hair girl stood next to the truck. She turned. Her light purple eyes shined in the sun.

”John! Mike!” she ran to them embracing them as she did. ”I'm so happy you guys are okay” her eyes were puffy.

”I can say the same for you kiddo” John smiled happily at her. ”Now lets get out of this hell whole” He went to his truck.

”Will you still take me home?” the young airport assistant asked nervously.

”Yes. I'm not a monster.” John chuckled and everyone got into the truck.

”Thank you” the girl said sitting in the passenger seat. She started to pick at her arm.

Carrie noticed. ”You okay?” she whispered to her from behind.

The girl jumped a little. ”Um yes. I'm fine” the girl started to twitch.

”Hey are you sure?” Carrie touched the girl but she growled at her. ”What the hell?”

”Carrie language!” John said angrily. He went back to trying to find his keys.

”What? She growled at me!” she said nervous.

The girl suddenly attacked John making both of them fall out of the truck.

”Guess he didn't close his door hard enough.” Mike said getting out. Carrie did the same.

”Get off me!” John yelled trying to fight the girl off of him.

”Mike come help me!” Carrie said trying to pull the woman off John.

Mike swallowed hard and went to help. ”She wants to bite him”

”What do you mean bite?” Carrie looked at him worried.

”When you went to the bathroom people started to freak because some guy started eating his wife.” Mike said struggling to get this woman off.

”Will you two shut up and help me!” John said pushing the girls chin away from him.

Carrie looked around and saw the car keys under the truck. ”Bingo” she quickly grabbed them and stood behind the girl. ”I'm sorry” she turned her head away and stabbed the girl in the head as hard as she could.

The girl fell. Blood splattered everywhere.

”I'm guessing you hit a artery.” Mike said trying to stay clear of the blood. ”Ew!”

Carrie stood looking at the girl and her hand. Her hand was covered in blood. The girls blood. ”Oh my god...I killed someone” she started to tear up.

John quickly stood and went to her. ”Hey hey. Its okay. Look at me” he grabbed her face and pulled it to him. ”Its going to be okay” he held her. She started to cry.

”I killed a human being.” she cried and cried.

”Yeah you did.” Mike said touching the woman with his foot.

Carrie cried more.

”Okay lets go home okay?” John looked at her. ”Sound good? We will talk to the police after.” he walked Carrie to the other side of the truck. ”Its going to be okay” he helped her inside and shut the door. He went back around. ”You too”

Mike nodded and got in the truck as well.

As soon as John turned the car on Carrie got out. ”Carrie!”

Mike did the same as John. Both of them stood in front of her.

”I wont....I...I cant!” she paced back and forth.

”Carrie come on. Its freezing.” Mike said warming up his arms.

John hit him upside the head. ”Carrie you can.” he went up to her. ”When we get into town we will-”

”What John? Hmm? Go tell the police that I killed someone. Go to jail because I killed a innocent woman!” she was clearing freaking out. ”Listen I just...I just cant” she had tears running down her face.

”Carrie...” John grabbed her. ”I promise you that nothing will happen to you. It was self defense.” he looked her in the eyes. ”Now please get back in the truck.”

She sighed and agreed. She didn't want to do this but she knew it would be worse to argue. So she got in the car and they drove off. Going into town.
