64 Time Paradox (2/2)
Everyone from students to the teacher to vice-dean every single person froze; not just people even the water in Pergandis Lake were motionlessly like a picture. Everything in Unix stopped from the birds flying in the sky to the ants marching in the woods.
The strangest part is none of them, not even the strongest man of Unigux noticed the change or realized anything odd before turning into a statue; well except one old guy.
The Blind old guy was dashing to rescue Quinn and his friends, but suddenly an unquantifiable pressure descended upon him forcefully stopping his tracks. The old guy dumbfounded seeing everything around him in a mystical static state.
It took him a good amount of time to recover and then he let a soft sigh while shaking his head.
” 'Time Paradox', are these old fellows too bored to play games in this remote place.”
That was the last thing muttered before letting his futile efforts of resistance and slowly turned into a statue.
Quinn was only one conscious, but even he was totally speechless seeing this bizarre phenomenon.
[Boss, you're lucky that I pulled you into Zenith box to view through the Black Fog. Or else you would've frozen like others; Boss I don't know what's going on but this not something caused by the corrosive Black fog.....]
As Elgar was blabbering in fright a sudden sound shut him, the rocky walls of the cave cracked. Then the cracked walls shattered like a mirror and a tall man entered the cave.
The shattered walls didn't lead to another cave instead a deep black light filled the shattered area; To being with the cave was poorly lite so the black gateway wasn't too conspicuous. The scene was more like space itself broken and torn apart rather than a wall blown away.
Then a hazy entered the cave through a black background. The tall majestic man's grand arrival obvious attracted Quinn's attention, though he was completely immobilized; thanks to Zenith Box Quinn could still perceive what going on.
Though Quinn still couldn't clearly see his face, he was sure that this man must hold enormous authority in his hand to exhibit such a bearing.
As expected the man walked to Quinn and his friends, as much as he hated being defenseless before a strange Quinn couldn't do anything except pray for their safety.
The man stopped few meters away from Quinn and absentmindedly stared into the black fog; after few minutes of silence he made few bizarre signs and the sent a blue glow to the black fog.
The moment it touched the corrosive fog the blue light transformed into the barrier and completely encompassing the Black Fog. Since Elgar filtered the Black Fog Quinn only saw blue barrier around them.
Slowly the barrier started to shrink with the black fog; the barrier gradually shrunk to a small blue ball, Quinn and his friends were rescued from the corrosive Black fog. Unix is still frozen so Quinn couldn't return to his body.
The man who leisurely captured the corrosive Black Fog waved his hand, the blue ball floated to him and carefully placed it inside a jade box and sealed it completely.
Then he wiped the non-existent sweat and sighed mildly before taking his eyes from the Jade box. Once he sealed the jade box the man's figure slowly became clear and Quinn saw his features.
The man had long red hair and perfectly chiseled jaws with amber-green eyes. He wore a grandiose Black armor emitting intense evil bloodthirst, confirming its magnificent battle records.
Strangely the man's emitted a rich righteousness aura exactly in contrast to his Armor. Quinn could sense the concealed superior regal air with every step the man took.
Seeing the man's face, a sudden revelation hit Quinn like a bolt of thunder.
