”Since you guys are the first this year let give some extra tips, don't underestimate the crabs in the caves. They are far more intelligent than the one outside Pregandis Lake.”

Quinn and his friends nodded their head and proceeded to the cave; they had already read through the details so everyone had a rough idea about it. In brief, it was they are supposed to steal the pearls from the nest holes. These pearls are the nutrients left by the parent star-crabs for its babies.

The problem is that these nest holes are generally well hidden and high-quality pearls are very rare; moreover, male Star-crab would always be safeguarding its nest. So they must find a nest hole and defeat the crab to get a pearl.

Actually, the old guy's tip was as useless as it can get, none of the students will be aware of cultivation much less these crabs before entering the school; so obviously they would be clueless about the crabs outside.

And students during their first Quest would be far more cautious than the rest so his tip was nothing but a cheap trick. Quinn didn't bother with the blind guy idle enough to tease little kids.

Everyone cautiously entered the cave; though the Star-crabs weren't deadly it could still cause severe injuries if one was careless. The cave had decent lighting so they didn't have any problem searching. The track was filled with twists and turns to prevent them from getting a clear picture of the cave in spite of reasonable visibility.

Since they were the first to enter this year, Quinn team were trying to pick some easy bargains by collecting the Jade Pearls from the nest on the outer surface of the cave.

Quinn and his friends combed every nook and corner of the stone pathway and the rock-strewn walls; inadvertently hampering their speed. After quarter-an-hour of relentless searching, they still ended with nothing but bruises and dirty clothes.

Finally, Elgar couldn't bear seeing them wasting their time lifting every trash on the way.

[Boss, actually searching near the cave entrance and places with lighting is pure waste time, the Star crabs will build their nest in the dark hideouts only.]

”Elgar, Are you sure? We didn't get any such info.”

Though he believed Elgar, he still found such info too elementary and without such knowledge, the Quest is nothing but a waste of time.

[Boss, rest assured I'm sure that the crabs will form their nest holes in dry and dark places. The area near the entrance gets too much of exposure so not even blindest crab would build its nest any were near the entrance.

Your school's probably trying to test you guys, only the first team would search at the cave entrance, the teams coming after would probably conclude that all the nest holes at the entrance were emptied by the group before them after a short period of fruitless searching.

If the First team entering Dark Star Crab Cave are brilliant and talented kids they will find something amiss after searching for few hours and only the overconfident fools will waste all their 4 days at the entrance.

Actually, this Dark Carb cave is Qi-forbidden region, that is, cultivators are prohibited from entering. Once they enter the entire structure would collapse and all the inhabitant life forms would self-destruct.

Outside the there are many such places and people use the androids to collect these pearls. Since no device is allowed in the school campus they are using you guys to collect it.
