33 Physique Test part 2 (2/2)
Then it was Boris's turn, he nervously placed his hands on the ball but unfortunately there was no reaction.
”No Special physique”
Boris nearly cried, it was a double hit for him. First he didn't any appreciation for starting the Flying Cloud and now he didn't get a physique too. Boris was very vexed.
Boris quickly returned to his seat to avoid scolding from Fran. Then it was Kallis's turn he was nervous from the start and after Boris failure even his hands started to shiver from anxiety.
Kallis placed his hand on the ball and closed his eyes to avoid seeing his failure but what the ball glowed, and he wasn't able to see it.
”Elemental Physique - Darkness physique - Tier 2 Mid-grade”
Hearing the announcement Kallis was extremely excited and immediately ran over to his place near Boris. When he went near Boris he slowed down and suppressed his excitement and sat near Boris and patted his shoulders to console him.
Kallis wasn't boosting about his special physique though he felt happy and lucky, he was considerate enough as Boris was depressed and any celebration might backfire.
Boris next action was even more shocking, he didn't envy Kallis instead he genuinely congratulated him and hugged him happily forgetting in spite of being dejected.
Seeing the wonderful bonding between Boris and Kallis and their pure friendship Quinn felt proud for having such friends.
Though everyone was in the same building, Boris and Kallis were much closer. Quinn was too mature, though he tried to act like a kid he still couldn't entirely mingle with them. Lardo was a typical weirdo as he generally keeps to himself and talks only if it was absolutely necessary.
While Quinn was appreciating the spirit of friendship between his friends a sudden yet shocking announcement shook the whole class. Lardo has done his test without Quinn noticing it and the result was being announced.
”Enhancement Physique - Enhanced overall body strength - Tier 3 high grade”
Till now all the enhancement physique were relating to specific body parts. So Lardo was the first one to have an enhancement for the whole body, moreover it was the highest tier and highest grade of body physique.
Everyone was envious about Lardo's physique especially the ones who have physiques. The student's without physique weren't bother with the type or tier of physique other got as they didn't have enough time for self-indulgence of lack of physique.
Even Fran who was having poker face the entire day smiled and encouragingly patted Lardo. Soon Lardo went to his seat after lots of compliments; of course Quinn was the first to congratulate as he was standing behind Lardo in the queue.
Quinn stood before his teacher and placed his right palm on the ball there was no reaction from the ball as Quinn expected and the same announcement came.
”No Special Physique”
His friends who were waiting all shook their head in disappointment. But Quinn felt that it was the sweetest thing he has heard since the school started, all his worry flew away and Quinn felt light.
Subconsciously he gave a smile which confused Fran who was facing Quinn. It was the first time he has ever seen a student smiling after knowing that he didn't possess a physique.
[Stupid Boss, don't grin like an idiot; no one would smile after failing a test.]
Elgar sudden reminder awoke Quinn from his daze and he instantly altered facial expression to a slightly sad one. Fran thought his eyes were playing games with him when he saw Quinn smile so rubbed his eyes to re-check it.
Quinn quick response with Elgar prompt reminder bailed him out; Fran assumed that it was his imagination and proceeded to the next student. Quinn slowly shook his head before making his way to his seat but all this was nothing but acting.
Quinn happily went to his seat, though he put out a slightly glum facade. His friends tried to console him; Boris had recovered and accepted his weakness. Quinn was happy to have such friend though they were all kids. But he felt slightly bad for Boris as in reality he's the only one without any physique.
