July 9609 Locus Era

A boy was playing with Rubik's cube 5x5; the Rubik's cube was projected from a small blue ball. His hands were lighting fast; an ordinary person would only see a pair of blurry hands.

The kid was about 5 years old; he was very fair with light blue pupils. His silky smooth black hair which made him was too cute and irresistible. Though he was a small kid his eyes were like a vortex and it was too mature for a kid his age.

The extreme focus he exerted in solving the cube which made him even more dashing. When he solved the cube a light shot out from the ball. The kid absent-mindedly looked at the perfect 5x5 Rubik's cube in his hands.

The kid is Alistair, no now it's Quinn. It's been 5 years since his rebirth. He had a very satisfying and pleasant life so far. The planet he's currently residing is Unigux. He's in Peace River city of Yarland country which is located in a remote corner of the country. There are no different continents in Unigax it is just a single land mass with many islands around it.

Every person in Unigax is a cultivator or there is no one who can't cultivate in this world. Though there are many different realms in cultivation which divides the whole population into different classes.

This world is technologically very advanced, there are no computers or smart phones instead people use personal implants. A small chip is implanted in the hands which shoots holographic projections.

It has all functions of a smart phone and goes far beyond it. Each implant will have an A.I. installed in them; it's like your personal assistant they help in innumerable ways.

The types of vehicles are still the same like cars, bikes, buses but the only similarity is their appearance; there are no wheels for the vehicles instead it floats and moves around using boosters like in jets. They are generally operated by androids or if it is advanced machine then it will have an inbuilt A.I.

Actually the maid in his house was an android; though it was only a standard household android Quinn was extremely curious about it. Then one time he couldn't contain his curiosity thus he tried cut maid's skin using a kitchen knife to check if she really was an android.

But his experiment was a failure, as the knife couldn't even damage her skin much less investigating her internal structure. Somehow his mother found this and his bumps turned into red plum after a good beating. This extinguished his curiosity fire of the androids and successfully became one his bitter childhood memories.

Actually all manual works are replaced with androids like servants, drivers, chefs, patrol and what not. But the city isn't filled with androids or androids has not replaced humans completely. As the product or service produced by a human is more luxurious and desired.

This is because all cultivators will innately release some Qi from their body just like exhaling. If cultivator for example cooks, then the food prepared by the cultivator will contain a portion of qi which is beneficial for other cultivators. The same applies for all the profession, and there are many different ranks within each profession.
