”You want Lemon tea?” suddenly Lucas peeks from the door.

Lory smiles at him ”It's rare for you to be kind” Lory teased him.

”Hey, I'm a good brother!” he refuted.

Lory giggles while accepting the hot mug, she takes a sip then her eyebrows creased ”What is this!” Lory stuck out her tongue.

”What is my owned recipe,” Lucas said with innocent expression ”Lemon and ginger tea, to keep you nice and warmed”

”How many Ginger you used?” Lory squints her eyes tightly until it becomes a thin line, the spicy flavor hit her tongue.

”A lot…” Lucas smile slyly.

Lory pout at him with upset looks which only make Lucas laughing. Even though the taste is horrible but lory keeps drinking the tea since it does make her warm and Lucas has troubled himself to make something for her even as a joke, she knew he wants to cheer her up.

”Where do you go after this?” Lory asks.

Lucas leans on the stone railing, his eyes stare at the distance ”Oak city past the Roverdane and Cranewald” he gesture with his hand.

”That place....is filled with a high-level beast” Lory sips her tea calmly.

”I know” Lucas answer shortly ”We will manage…” he said casually.

Lory stifles ”I know you will” she mutters.

Lucas's eyes shift on Lory ”And you…what is your plan?”

”What? I will be here, Duh….” Lory rolls her eyes.

”Then why you refuse to replace me for a while, this commission could easier answer to you than me, who knows where I'm at that time and I won't be always reachable?” said Lucas.

”I'm not like you, Luc I'm not good with this leadership or whatever”

”Bulls**t, you as good as me or perhaps better” Lucas snort disbelieve with her excuse.

”Only you who would say that” Lory sip another tea, the spice already numb her taste.

Both of them fall in silent they look the last remnants of their Kingdom, half of their people had died including their father only in one day they had lost everything, the Kingdom, the beautiful city, friends and most of all their beloved Father, how can someone can lost so much and so fast just in one day everything gone.

”I'm sorry Lory,” said Lucas suddenly.

”About what?” Lory tilted her head confusedly.
