”Qingdai, go get some ointment, Seventh Treasure and Loop Water. You two, take Third Miss to my inner room and change.” Lian Ruyue ordered:

”Yes.” The maidservants went about their business.

”Thank you, thank you elder sister.” Lian Shiya endured the burning pain and followed the two maidservants into Lian Ruyue's room. After entering the room, she immediately took off her clothes. Sure enough, a large patch of red had appeared under the clothes.

”The scalding ointment has been brought over. This servant will help Third Young Miss apply it.” On the other side, Fairy Qingmei took the ointment, but when she saw the Third Miss, she could not smile.

Qing Dai took a look and saw that her burns were all over her thigh. She bowed and said, ”Your servant will wait outside the door. Third Miss can call for your servant when you've finished painting.”

”Yes, this servant obeys.” Qing Dai turned around and walked out of the screen with the other two maidservants. He could vaguely see Lian Shiya's bent over as she applied the medicine.

Lian Ruyue waited outside for around an hour before Lian Shiya changed clothes and walked over to her and said, ”Big sister, I've already applied medicine and changed my clothes.”

”How is it, you didn't suffer any serious injuries, right?” Lian Ruyue looked at her and asked with concern.

”A patch of red, luckily I had applied the medicine in time and didn't have any burns. Big Sis had me change my clothes in time after losing everything.” Lian Shiya said gratefully.

”As a precaution, let's invite Doctor Lu over to take a look.” Lian Ruyue said.

”That's what I thought too, sister. I'll be leaving first. Thank you, big sister.” Lian Shiya bowed and said.

”Alright.” Lian Ruyue had a smile on her face as she sent Lian Shiya all the way to the door. Lian Shiya seemed to have been relieved of a heavy burden as she heaved a sigh of relief before turning around and leaving.

Walking out of the Immortal Lotus Courtyard, the smile on Lian Shiya's face deepened, but there was a hint of coldness within that smile. She lowered her head and quickly walked towards her Clear Spring Courtyard.

When they returned to Clear Spring Academy, Bai Wei came over to welcome them. When she saw that Lian Shiya's hands were red, she was shocked and hurriedly said, ”Third Miss, what happened? Did you get scalded with water because Big Sis didn't understand?”

”No, I did it on purpose.” Lian Shiya walked all the way back to her room. With a cold expression, she took off her clothes, took the scissors, clenched her teeth hatefully, and cut open Lian Meng Yue's clothes. As she picked them up, she said, ”I displayed a panicked expression, but they really thought that I became timid and cowardly because my mother was kicked out of the Prime Minister's Palace. How would they know my true goal?”

”Third Miss, what is your real purpose?” Bai Wei asked.

Lian Shiya's scissors in her hand froze as she raised her eyes to look at her, and her eyes emitted a coldness.

Bai Wei jumped up in fright and quickly kneeled down. ”Third Miss, last time, the medicine for Madam really had nothing to do with this servant. Song mama said it was to give madam a baby antidote, so this servant believed it to be true, which is why …” ”Only now …”
