The weather was too good and beautiful to have an upset mood. Even though Xiulan wants to hit her husband cruelly, she did her best to calm down and ignore his nonsense complaints.

She put all her attention on the magnificent sightings around them and use her camera to capture all these beautiful memories she could share with her friends and families back in her country.

She rarely goes to foreign places without her family or close friends, so this may be the best time to share stories without them in the picture.

It's almost sunset and they just visited the third famous temple in Kyoto. They were about to go back to the parking lot which was so far from the exit of the temple. They plan to go to the shopping district since they will be leaving Kyoto tomorrow.

She doesn't know how long they had been walking but according to her remaining energy, she can still walk until dinner time. They had a quick very late lunch three hours ago and some snacks along the way.

The husband complains a lot but still follows her around. She put up a great deaf ear while her husband rants to his heart's content.

”I am not sure what's so good about walking and walking and walking. All I did today was burn incense, pray things that I know I can have, eat cheap snacks and walk all throughout the day. What's so fun about that?” He ranted for the nth time. Xiulan can't even count how many times he said the same lines.

She held onto his hands and gripped it tightly. She looked at him annoyingly and started nagging at him, ”You want a vacation, right? This what tourists do when they are on a vacation in another country. And can't you stop saying such negative words? You just came out of these holy places and you're running your mouth like the ungrateful devil.”

The two were like a long-time couple, arguing the smallest things they could put their attention to.

”We are rich. Why do we need to do the basic sh*t as these commoners do?” Hongqi arrogantly rebuked. All his life, he never 'walked' this long. He might have 'run' or 'jog' during fun runs and triathlons, but walk out of inconvenience… he never did such a thing!

Xiulan hit her husband's bulky arms. He sure knows how to say the most arrogant words. How can someone be angelic looking but evil inside? ”He doesn't deserve that handsome face!” she secretly thought and gritted her teeth.

”Where's the fun in that? The simplest things can be very satisfying. Like now, aren't you proud you walked ten to fifteen kilometers in just one day?” Xiulan smugly said and made a toothy smile at him, which was a very sarcastic display.

Hongqi's eyebrows twitch and made a deep frown. ”I really can't find the fun in that, my love!”

”The next day we will be going to Disney Land. There's a lot of walking again so you better not complain since that place is a stress-free place. I don't want to hear your stressful words.” Xiulan warned him and even gave him a feisty glare. She will never let him ruin the fun during their Disney Land trip.

Hongqi scoffed. ”Childish.”

Xiulan had enough. She makes sure she'll pinch him so hard that his flawless skin will get blisters!

Her tiny hand swiftly crawl to his upper arms and pinched him deathly! Her most pet peeve was people who complain and repeatedly do it beside her. It's the most ingratiating punishment for her.

Hongqi automatically gasps in pain at her sudden attack. ”Ow!” Her hands were tiny but how the hell did those fingers managed to create such a painful effect.

To revenge the injustice created on his flawless skin, he roguishly embraced his wife to corner her and jokingly bit her pointing finger.

Xiulan shrieked so loudly in the parking lot but eventually, her screaming became a harmonious laugh.

Inside the car, Xiulan massaged her legs and tried to apply a pain-relieving patch on it. But she can't fully move her legs since she was not wearing any underwear.

She secretly side-glanced at her husband to check if he was looking at her. But to her surprise, he was watching her every move.

”Why are you looking at me? Stalker.” She gave him a suspicious frown while she massages her legs in a very bad posture.

”That's karma. You made me tired from all the inconveniences like walking for so long and I got my retribution which is the pain in your legs.” Hongqi accused childishly and smirked. He even lifted his long legs and displayed it to her that he didn't feel a thing. ”All the pain went to your skinny legs.”

Xiulan was about to hit his long legs with her skinny legs when she suddenly remembers that she doesn't have any underwear. She might be wearing a long dress but it was a fitted dress and has a slit. Obviously, it was not the right wardrobe to do any stretching or kicking.
