Xiulan was fuming and miffed when she browsed the reports. She can't explain why she's so pissed that her husband tries to mind her business. She understands if he gave her a heads up but he was completely mum about it.

When Xiulan finished looking at the report, she sighed deeply and angrily frowned at her husband. She hit his muscular arms and ranted ”You! Why are you messing with my plans? Please mind your own business.”

She was hissing and very angry. But her exasperated face was still pretty and it made Hongqi want to tease her more.

”My love, I can't leave my wife solving other people's problems,” he answered back and wrapped his arms around her body. ”I noticed that you were living an unhealthy lifestyle for the past months and was stressed by all the problems that life gives you. I am your husband, I should help my dear wife.”

Xiulan listens to Hongqi's words and tried to pacify herself. She understands that her husband had been wanting to help her but she was not allowing him.

She may have been petty regarding this matter but due to her stubborn attitude, she really didn't like getting any help.

She looked at her husband with her eyebrows still frowning but her mood was slightly better than a minute ago. ”Alright… I won't be mad at you this time. I'm cool now. I just felt like, you're trying to invade my privacy… too much to be exact.” She pouted.

Hongqi smiled at his wife's cute mutterings. ”I will try my best not to meddle anymore. But since I'm a nosy husband, I might still hinder sometimes.” He flashed his pearly teeth at his wife. He pulled her closer to him and quickly stole a kiss on her lips.

Xiulan blushed when the roguish husband stole a kiss from her. They were in a public place yet this man kept touching and pulling sweet tricks on her.

”I hope you don't mind that we're gonna have a one month vacation.” Hongqi blurted while he plays with his wife's hands.

”Huh?” Xiulan didn't know about this one month vacation. ”What do you mean?” she clenched her small hands on his large palms.

Hongqi sweetly kissed her cheeks. ”We are going to have an extended honeymoon, my love!”

Xiulan held tightly on his hands and loudly whispered to him. ”No way! I'm very busy.”

”You are always busy, love. When are you not going to be busy anyway? You can remotely work, right? This is just one month… please?” Hongqi pleaded and held her tightly against his body. He sweetly embraced and cuddled her.

”One month...” Xiulan exasperatedly thought. With a whole month, she could do sort of things like work and work and work.

Hongqi blew his breath near her neck. ”Hey, what are you thinking?” His wife suddenly became quiet for a moment. He thought she was mad or something. This one month vacation must continue!

”One month is too much. How about two weeks?” Xiulan negotiated. A month of slacking off and wasting money was not a good plan for a stingy and workaholic person like her.

”Please please please, one month? I want to travel and spend more time with you.” Hongqi pleaded and acted like a little boy asking his mother to give what he wanted.

Secretary Yang Bo and the bodyguards cringed when they saw their scary boss acting so clingy. Was their boss like this in private? He was never clingy to his past women before. He was always calm and collected with a hint of threatening aura. But now… he's like a puppy.

Xiulan rolled her eyes. She can't believe she'll see the day that the great Xing Hongqi will act like this. ”Fine, fine! One month. You better make sure that one month of slacking will pay off.”

She was still mumbling something under her breath but Hongqi didn't bother understanding them since it was only her cute rants.

Hongqi's face brightened. Now that the one month escape has Xiulan's blessings, he will make sure that he'll do his best to let her know his true feelings.
