101 Chapter 101 : A Long Dream, the first betrayal (2/2)

”We will go to your dentist today and then after that piano lessons.” Her nanny announced.

”Ah! How about the ice cream date?” Xiulan sadly pouted. She can't afford to not have an ice cream date today.

The nanny and the driver laughed at her innocent rant. Oh their little angel is so cute!

”We can have an ice cream date after visiting your dentist.” Nanny Mae happily informed and lead Xiulan inside the car.

The following days, Nanny Mae wasn't able to fetch Xiulan for three consecutive weeks due to an emergency leave. Nanny Mae's brother was caught in an accident and she has to visit and take care of her brother.

The young daughter of the female head servant was the nanny's proxy in fetching Xiulan and of course the driver.

While the young daughter was busy taking care of Xiulan, the homeroom teacher approached the driver. ”Your girlfriend is not here. Did something happened?”

Struck by the homeroom teacher's beauty. The young driver smiled and denied his relationship with Nanny Mae. ”No, she's not my girlfriend. There was an accident in her hometown so she was on leave.”

Teacher Po smugly smiled for a moment. Then she acted like she was really concerned. ”Aww… I hope everything is fine in her hometown. I really thought you were in a relationship with her. Lady Song said it herself.”

”Ahh… hahahaha. Of course, children tend to see stuff in a different light. We are just flirting with each other. Relationships between servants inside the Song mansion was not allowed.” The driver awkwardly said. He was flustering so much and he can't seem to look at the teacher's eyes.

”Not allowed? Hmmm… then… how about we date and become lovers? That's allowed right?” Teacher Po directly went for the kill. She didn't dilly-dally anymore and confessed her true intentions.

The driver was speechless for a moment. He gawked at her and stuttered ”Oh… I… Is it okay for you to date a mere driver like me?”

”Why not? I like you.”

Because of Teacher Po's wild confession and claiming the driver as her boyfriend, the two started dating. Nanny Mae's ice cream date with the driver became Teacher Po's ice cream date with the driver.

Teacher Po even claimed that Xiulan was like her adopted daughter with the driver. She was so happy playing family during their ice cream dates.

For Xiulan's young mind but has common sense, she knew very well that the driver was cheating on her beloved Nanny Mae. To shut the head servant's young daughter, they brought her along and paid for her ice cream too with Xiulan.

Xiulan was also enraged at Teacher Po's promiscuous move to the driver. She already told her that the two were already dating but still, she seems to forgot about it and ended up being lovers with him.

The ice cream during that long three weekend tasted different and it was an ugly flavor of deceit. Xiulan didn't enjoy any of it.

When Nanny Mae came back, her plump body became thin and her cheeks were hallowed due to stress of taking care of her brother. The life in the country side is so hard. Good thing that she was working with the Song family, they lend her a huge amount of money for her brother's treatment.

Nanny Mae just got out of the nightmare that fallen onto her brother. She didn't expect coming back to S city brought her a new wave of bad news, the cheating driver confessed that he has a new lover and it was Teacher Po. He wanted to end his secret relationship with Nanny Mae.

For the young Xiulan, seeing her beloved Nanny Mae's tears made her hate men a little.

That was the start of seeing men's deceit. She did not expect growing up would be full of it. Her sisters' lovers fell onto the same category. Her sisters cried for men who cheated on them.

Good thing her father was not like any of those type of men. Her father, was the perfect male role model. He was the saving grace.

All the things she hated in men were ironically present in her husband, Xing Hongqi. Though he didn't cheat on her yet but he did cheat on some of his past lovers.

Xiulan woke up feeling the heaviness in her heart. She was in a good mood before she napped, but now, she felt like all the pain from the women in her dreams were transferred to her. She never wanted to feel such pain personally, ever.
