”Young master Han, just please let go of my hand. I want to go home. My husband is waiting for me. You don't want him to know about this, right?” Xiulan tried to use her husband's name to threaten his dear friend. If this man was like Hongqi's other friends, they wouldn't like to offend him.

Pierre was not really bothered by her statement. Rather, he's more enticed to bully her.

”But they are very soft. Brother Hongqi is very lucky.” He ignored her silent threats and kept holding her hands.

”Thank you but I don't care about your opinion. Please, please let go of my hand!” Xiulan exclaimed. She's really angry now. How can a person be so annoying?

Pierre only stared at her with deep thoughts. He still thinks that his dear brother Hongqi has a peculiar patience to keep up with this disobedient woman.

Xiulan didn't like the silence and deep stare coming from him. It was so awkward that she can only heave a long sigh and pulled her hands. But she was defeated again and she only slumped to the pillow seat again.

”I am right. You don't like my brother Hongqi.” Pierre said after his moment of silence.

Xiulan, who's dead tired of keeping up with this weirdo, suddenly looked at him with confused expression. His statement was stating a fact but it is something that people should not know of. She doesn't know how to react but since he had been so rudely honest, she will be honest too.

”Huh? So what if I don't like him?” Xiulan stared back at him with the same intensity. She doesn't understand where she got the courage to talk back. She's always passive and timid, but ever since she got married to that haughty Hongqi, she became very vocal in situations that she really really don't like, sometimes.

”But my brother Hongqi treasures you. He likes you.” Pierre stated. His eyes seems to be very honest and he has a serious expression. Xiulan can't really read him but she's sure she will never trust this guy.

”...” Xiulan's not sure what to answer. Was she supposed to act like she's happy and blush? Or she should act like a tsundere or just get mad? This question can be easily answered if the person asked doesn't have any idea about her relationship with Hongqi. She can easily lie but this Han Pierre knew something that the public doesn't know about the Xing couple's relationship.

”Ha! Speechless.” He snorted. He knew that this pretty Song Xiulan was thinking too much on how to answer him. He's not sure but this is very entertaining for him. A woman who's very cautious on her words, very timid but all her grievances are inside her head and heart. She's very good at hiding it but he will pester her until she shows her true colors.

”Please, let go of my hand!” Xiulan just went ahead in being angry. She's in fact angry so she should just continue her enraged mood until this man let go of her so she can go home.

”I like holding your hand.” Pierre's mood calmed again and continue to pester her. He's holding her hand for so long now.

”You are very annoying.” Xiulan just wanted to go home. She can't control her mouth to spout rude words. This person doesn't deserve any respect anyway.

”I know. I like to annoy people.” He affirmed with a half-smile. He glanced at Xiulan's wedding ring to check how generous his brother to his wife. He smirked when he saw that it was a simple ring. Hongqi's a very proud man and he would always try to give the best to his women. Yet his wife is wearing a simple ring. He thought that Hongqi's being stingy here.

”Please, young master Han. Just let go of my hand.” Xiulan took his attention again and tried to pull away from him. Her hands are getting sweaty and this is very tiring for her.

”You are very interesting. Do you want to know more about Zhao Lingyu?” Pierre randomly offered. He thought this is a nice chance to offer this to her. When he saw that ring, he knew that Hongqi's not going to give this woman the Xing family heirloom that usually given to Xing wives.

Xiulan was taken aback by his sudden offer. Hongqi said that woman's name last night and his best friend said it again. Was that woman really important that even his dear friend had to mention it to Hongqi's wife?

”Please, young master Han. Be respectful. I might be Hongqi's wife and doesn't like him that much. But I think you are being extremely rude to me by offering that? I really don't care about her relationship with Hongqi.” Xiulan tried to calm her angry heart. Being angry and shouting her irritation to this man won't work.
