”Ah yes yes! Dejiang is god sent. Let me thank him personally again next time.” Xiulan brightly smiled.

”Oh, young master. You better raise my salary.” Lau Zhu secretly muttered.

Xiulan's phone suddenly rang loudly making the both of them startled in surprise.

”Ah, it's that darn husband again.” Xiulan annoyingly muttered as she looks at her phone.

Lau Zhu glanced at Xiulan's face and the annoyed expression was evident. Zhu wonders what Mrs. Xing's husband did this time. The romantic kiss was all over the internet and made everyone gossip like old ladies. Zhu thought that this may be the cause of Mrs. Xing's bitter expression.

”Hello.” Xiulan coldly answered.

”Dear, are you in the Golden Eagle Arena?” Hongqi asked for the nth time today.

”Ho—I mean hubby… Ehem. Didn't I tell you that I will message you once I'm there? Okay?” Xiulan said. She was about to say Hongqi's name but since Lau Zhu was with her, she must continue her Mrs. Xing persona.

Calling him with endearments was the best thing to do at this kind of scenario. She also lied that she's not in the arena yet. She doesn't want to see that playful devil while she's concentrating in this mission. It'll just give her a foul mood.

”Alright. Call me if you have arrived in GEA. Okay? Don't forget!” Hongqi dutifully reminded Xiulan for the seventh time today.

Hongqi just finished a call with Xiulan again and he seems restless.

When he received a message from one of Xiulan's shadow guards earlier that his little wife left the office as early as 2 PM. Which was out of the norm so he immediately bombarded her with phone calls.

He kept calling and asking her if she's already in GEA vicinity already. Xiulan patiently answered all of his calls but he was still restless!

Even Secretary Yang Bo and the other staff felt that their boss was being unreasonably clingy to his wife today.

They are now speculating that their majestic boss is lovestruck. He was never like this to any of his women before. It was really weird seeing him like a father bombarding his daughter to go home early.

Secretary Yang Bo was not sure know anymore if the young master was still doing this for his good image or he was only genuinely worried. Besides, the madam is a really nice woman. Anyone would like to protect a someone like her.Lately, his young master would always try his best to go home and pester their aloof madam.

It was such a refreshing sight and everyone in the XRE is happy because the young master is in a good mood. They now have a huge respect towards Mrs. Xing.

Though the XRE employees speculated too much but was it really the real case?

Xiulan and Tzu blended with the Andy Gao fans. Though they have zero knowledge about Andy Gao, they managed to fool the other fans that they were indeed hardcore fans like them.

They have decided to go in line now so they can still roam around inside before the first performance starts.

”Are you a fansite master?” One fan suddenly asked Xiulan. The fan was also in line.

Thanked goodness she knows the terms. Ever since she started researching about these award shows, she acquired new knowledge and fan terms.

”No, I'm just a regular fan.” Xiulan tried to convince the young fan.

”Really? You look like a fansite master and you even have fancy gadgets with you. Five out of 10 fansite masters usually have blonde hair.” The girl uttered and pointed out her huge SLR camera.

Her camera will be used as binoculars. Her camera has nice zooming capabilities and can takes crisp HD photos even if the subject was too far away.

”Ahh... is that so?” Xiulan sweated and glanced at the SLR hanging on her neck and the tablet on her lap. The girl was right. She really looked like a big fansite master. Add that her hair is blonde too. Female fansite masters would dye their hair blond because of aesthetic and fashion reason just to be somewhat par with their idols.

Xiulan awkwardly smiled at the nosy girl and corrected her again that she was not a fansite master.

The girl stopped pestering her and they all concentrated on their own business.

It's been an hour and a half have passed and there are no signs of threat or suspicion. They are now inside the arena. Xiulan and Zhu are taking their time to secretly look for the blind spots.

After finding some of the blind spots, they decided to look for their seat so they can monitor the CCTVs on the tablet.

Once they found their seat, the two of them busied themselves on the CCTVs and checking suspicious fans around.

The event has started and the first performer was a rookie girl group that managed to be phenomenally got famous in just two months. The arena went bonkers once the girl group performs.

At the same time, Xiulan's phone kept ringing and it was Hongqi again.

”Darn this man.” Xiulan muttered first then she excused herself from Lau Zhu that she'll just answer the call in the hallway since it's far more silent in there.

Xiulan was about to press the answer button when her attention was caught by group of men with the same uniform that the punks she saw in the last event.

She was staring at them for a few seconds when more men suddenly appeared from her left side wearing the same uniform.

It was like a slow moment when her eyes caught the two culprits last time. Her blood suddenly went boiling when she heard the group of men talk.

”We could just kill them all now. Just throw a powerful grenade at them then bam!” One of the men said and they all laughed like an evil specter.

The group of men were all walking towards a fire exit, which is a blind spot from the CCTVs.

Xiulan suddenly looks at her surrounding if there were guards or marshals present but neither was close enough to saw the men going inside the fire exit. They were all inside trying to catch fans that were trying to cause trouble or they were too far away.

”Shit.” Xiulan cursed.

Instead of answering Hongqi's call, she ended it instead and calls Lau Zhu.

”Mrs. Xing.” Lau Zhu immediately answered.

”Meet me outside. We must stop them before they try to do something funny.” Xiulan instructed and ended the call.After that, she quickly placed all of her gadgets inside her backpack except the tablet so she can move easier and still monitor those punks.

While sloppily putting the items inside her bag, she saw the black fanny pack that contains the silencer.

She gulped before touching the bag. She's not sure if she needs it now but to be safe, she took the two flash grenades and two sound bombs instead.

She silently whispered a prayer. She hopes that she won't need the silencer. Her baton and these small items were all the item she needs. If it results the need to use the silencer, everything will be bloody and that's not part of what she plans to happen.
